The Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of a leading banking client's trading application platform. You will play a critical role in improving deployment processes, enhancing platform reliability, and supporting infrastructure automation across development and production environments.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong DevOps mindset, hands-on experience with modern deployment tools, and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems that enable fast and secure software delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and deployment workflows using ArgoCD
  • Improve platform reliability, availability, and operational performance across critical trading applications
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release processes and deployment automation
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, and support incident resolution activities
  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code, operational best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD in enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting highly available production systems and improving system reliability
  • Understanding of containerized environments, deployment automation, and modern DevOps practices
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within Agile delivery teams

Bonus Points For

  • Experience supporting banking, fintech, trading, or other mission-critical platforms
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based infrastructure environments
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging platforms
  • Exposure to security best practices, release governance, and production support processes
