Beyond maintaining system health and supporting users, you’ll lead process improvement initiatives end-to-end—partnering closely with Finance stakeholders to understand needs and independently designing and delivering solutions. You’ll execute against a roadmap set by senior team members while contributing to larger cross-functional initiatives.
What You’ll Do
System Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for core Finance systems, with NetSuite as your anchor platform
- Own the Business Systems support queue—triaging tickets, troubleshooting issues, and supporting Finance users
- Build and maintain NetSuite customizations, including:
- Custom fields, forms, and roles
- Saved searches, reports, datasets, and workbooks
- Event-based and scheduled workflows
- Administer tools such as Brex and Zip, including approval routing and workflow configurations
- Support additional Finance tools (e.g., revenue recognition, financial analysis, month-end close) as the tech stack evolves
Integrations
- Build and maintain integrations using an iPaaS platform (e.g., Workato, Celigo, Jitterbit, Boomi)
- Configure native connectors and develop custom logic to optimize system integrations
- Own key integrations (e.g., Salesforce ↔ NetSuite), ensuring data accuracy and reliability
- Partner with engineering on complex builds, then take ownership of ongoing maintenance
- Document integration configurations and system dependencies
AI Tools & Automation
- Configure and maintain Finance-focused AI tools and reporting workflows
- Build role-based AI agents and automate reporting cadences using Finance system data
- Design and implement AI-driven workflows to automate Finance processes across systems
- Leverage NetSuite’s native AI capabilities to generate insights and streamline close activities
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Gather and translate requirements for Finance processes into functional system designs
- Own end-to-end delivery of self-contained workflows (e.g., automating AR collections processes)
- Partner with senior team members on complex, cross-functional initiatives (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, revenue recognition)
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Systems, Systems Administration, or Systems Analysis—preferably in a Finance or accounting technology environment
- Hands-on NetSuite administration experience, including workflows, saved searches, reporting, and data structures
- Experience owning a support queue and working directly with Finance stakeholders
- Familiarity with iPaaS tools (Workato, Celigo, Jitterbit, Boomi, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with scripting or coding within financial systems (e.g., SuiteScript or similar)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Workato
- Familiarity with tools like Zip, Brex, FloQast, or similar Finance platforms
- Experience working in a high-growth startup or technology company
