The Problems You’ll Solve

We are expanding quickly in adjacent sectors including Private Equity. Our vision is to build the OS (operating system) for venture capital and private equity fund managers and CFOs.

  • Evangelize Carta’s unique value proposition to the VC and PE ecosystem. You will work across multiple regions within Asia but primarily be focused on Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia
  • Map and communicate the business impact of our product offerings to key decision makers
  • Identify and communicate effectively with Go-to-Market Leads new areas for business growth
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor
  • Drive revenue through strategic networking, in-person business development and outbound prospecting 
  • Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close
  • Develop a comprehensive go to market plan to prioritize and execute against the opportunity in your assigned territory & segment, in partnership with your cross functional leads. 

The Team You’ll Work With

Carta is looking for an Account Executive to join our Investor Services team, based in Singapore.

Carta expanded to the Asia Pacific region in 2021 and we are building a world-class team to support the venture capital and private equity ecosystems. Most of our regional team is based in Singapore. 

About You

  • Relevant technical or industry experience. For example, experience with Fund Administration, or experience working in a finance or ops related role of a VC/PE Firm, or previous experience as an accountant/auditor
  • Go-To-Market experience, ideally sales or business development. 
  • Ability to solve problems and achieve results autonomously 
  • Strong understanding of venture capital and private equity including the local ecosystem 
  • Experience networking and building relationships 
  • Managing a pipeline, and closing sizable deals
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient - Comfortable working in a high velocity startup environment
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of SaaS businesses, or experience in a SaaS sales role
  • Prior Fund Accounting experience 
  • Accounting background
