The Problems You'll Solve
At Carta, our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. We believe that the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow.
As a Lead Product Manager, Company Management, you’ll solve problems in these areas:
- Networked problems: Carta is a multiplayer platform where multiple sides of the market, like companies, investors and law firms, participate. We are also a B2B2C platform where we help companies manage their large volume of employees. How do we acquire network nodes and strengthen the edges between nodes?
- Drive engagement: companies have defined behavior loops offline. How do we model and add value to them on Carta?
- Build a data business: more companies joining Carta lead to more data. How do we enrich and extract insights from the data, and add value to customers in a way that encourages more companies to join Carta?
- Automate busywork: stakeholder management is high friction with high support costs, especially for young companies and new founders. How do we automate, or better yet, eliminate, manual and disjointed workflows?
The Team You'll Work With
The Carta Company Management pillar mission is to empower companies to capitalize on their equity and make smarter financial decisions. Our North Star is engagement: tens of thousands of companies use the Carta platform to manage equity every month. Specifically, your scope includes:
- Employee and stakeholder management, such as source-of-truth ledgers, hiring, retention and departure workflows, and modeling tools
- Stakeholder transactions, such as issuance, exercising and transfers
- Carta Total Compensation, our compensation benchmarking product

- Employee equity portfolio management, such as employee onboarding and security acceptance
