Purpose of Position

CASETiFY is looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate Product Designer (Industrial) to join our team. You will be a part of the leads in CASETiFY’s product design and innovation to drive the company’s product portfolio growth and expansion.

Job Description

Research, conceptualize, and develop unique and captivating product designs that align with brand core values, market trends, and user expectations
Stay updated on the latest cultural trends, art movements, and design influences to infuse fresh perspectives into your work
Embrace diverse product categories and explore unconventional design approaches to deliver innovative solutions
Actively contribute to design thinking sessions, crit sessions, and design reviews to foster a collaborative and inspiring work environment
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills, experiment with new techniques, and stay informed about advancements in industrial design
Produce product design drawings, from first sketches to photorealistic 3D renders
Provide design specifications including color, material, texture, and finish that reflect market trends
Develop industrial design mock-ups when required

Requirement

5+ years of experience as an Industrial Designer, preferably in a design studio or agency setting
Bachelor's Degree or above in Industrial Design or a related field
Strong proficiency in Solidworks, Keyshot, and Adobe CS tools, knowledgeable in Rhino and Grasshopper a plus
Well-versed in design thinking
Demonstrated ability to create innovative and visually stunning designs with a keen eye for aesthetics and obsessive attention to details
Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
Passionate about the latest cultural trends, art, and design, with a strong appreciation for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
Curiosity and willingness to explore diverse product categories and challenge the status quo
Organized and basic project management
