cBEYONData is seeking a skilled Senior Automation Tester to join our team in support of a Test and Evaluation Team for Navy ERP.  The purpose of the work is to seek data engineering and analytics support in generating requirements for a technical upgrade of the Navy ERP system to S4 HANA as part of ERP+. The Government seeks to use a fit-to-standard approach to evaluate S4 HANA out-of-the-box capability first and what Department of Navy process changes need to occur to leverage S4 HANA with standard configuration, minimizing customization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead automation test team for schedule releases (regular, maintenance, and off cycle)
  • Develop test automation within Worksoft to support testing of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Central Component (ECC)
  • Create test plans to document the overall test strategy, test approach, test schedule, pass/fail criteria, test environment architecture, and test lab resources (software, personnel, tools)
  • Conduct automated testing as part of Navy ERP’s Test and Evaluation Team
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute both static analysis and dynamic testing of systems to verify acceptance of technical specifications.
  • Author and maintain test documentation to include test cases, test procedures, and test reports in accordance with organization’s policies and procedures
  • Analyze test results, monitor test progress, report status, communicate findings, brief results, and make recommendations to key stakeholders of product readiness for follow-on test events and/or deployment
  • Maintain library of automation tests to facilitate both functional testing and regression testing
  • Support planning, coordinating, and executing verification, validation, and testing of applications and system software to identify deficiencies and risks associated with design, documentation, development, modification, implementation, installation, and support of new or existing  systems
  • Provide advice and recommendations on T&E policies, processes and guidelines, conducting analysis, identifying deficiencies, and recommending resolution to problems and issues, and preparing and presenting reports
  • Assist Navy ERP infrastructure for upgrades to automated test tools Specify and maintain automation test tool and tool environment configurations
  • Mentor other contractor and government test team members on testing tools, process, and procedures

Requirements:

Required:

  • Active SECRET clearance
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC)
  • Expert knowledge of Worksoft test suite including writing and troubleshooting scripts
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) suite
  • Knowledge of utilizing automation testing tools to conduct functional and performance testing
  • Ability to plan and execute verification and validation methods, and generate bi-directional traceability of requirements to tests

Desired:

  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate test events, monitor test activities, track and report progress.
  • Skilled in creating test plans and conducting test design activities to generate test cases/procedures
  • Ability in executing test activities to include integration, system, functional, performance, acceptance
  • Skilled in capturing test data, generating test metrics, analyzing test results, and analyzing acceptance criteria conditions
  • Skilled in preparing test reports, preparing presentations, briefing results, providing overall assessments and making recommendations to stakeholders, customers, and sponsors
