Senior Product Designer

As Senior Product Designer, you’ll focus on the international growth and localization of Coinbase One—one of Consumer’s most important offerings for our most engaged crypto traders and enthusiasts. You’ll develop a deep understanding of international users’ needs and design high-quality, region-specific experiences that enhance membership benefits and scale Coinbase One globally. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to define and execute Coinbase One’s international roadmap, including the introduction of bespoke benefits for regions and integration of local payment methods.

What you’ll be doing

• Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution, from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to final production.
• Raise the quality bar with rigorous attention to detail across languages, cultures, and devices, adapting to regional requirements and considering edge cases.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and XFN peers to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with international and horizontal product teams to garner alignment on Coinbase One’s global vision.
• Participate in regular design critiques to receive and provide feedback on design work.

What we look for in you

• 5+ years of product design experience — bonus if you have prior experience with localization for international audiences.
• Strong communicator with a track record of influencing product direction and aligning stakeholders on complex products at scale. 
• Sharp attention to detail and mastery over your craft, especially: visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Balances quality and speed in fast-paced (sometimes ambiguous), cross-functional environments.
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Collaborative, low-ego team player with a growth mindset.

Nice to haves

• Design system contribution or leadership across multiple markets with knowledge of usability best practices. 
• Passion for understanding cultural context through research or lived experience.
