The role
The Marketing Communication Specialist will partner with cross-functional marketing and sales to develop, manage and execute marketing programs and campaigns for EMEA Customers. They will partner with the Sales team to identify, develop, implement and evaluate marketing communication strategies and tactics, based on local Customer, segment, and market needs and in line with company objectives, brand recognition and budgetary guidelines to maintain and support the growth of Cell Signaling Technology Europe B.V.
You'll have the opportunity to...
- To work alongside fellow marketers in the areas of planning, developing, producing, delivering and maintaining marketing materials and event deliverables. Examples include but are not limited to collateral, email, website and booth design etc.
- To manage and execute marketing tactics for targeted EMEA campaigns.
- To develop written materials including marketing copy, weekly newsletters, business communications, reports, and presentations.
- To ensure impactful messaging by understanding local market requirements
- To manage and execute targeted lead generation campaigns that result in sales ready opportunities and maximized ROI.
- To create (local) sales tools that support commercial teams and convey CST’s value proposition.
- To brainstorm and develop ideas for creative European marketing tactics.
- To collaborate closely with (global) Product Management & (global) Marketing Communication teams and sales / distributor teams to ensure alignment with goals and consistency in messaging.
- To serve as day-to-day contact to both sales and cross-functional marketing team members.
- To support and work closely with Customers to ensure Customer satisfaction.
- To gather European market intelligence incl. but not limited to funding, market dynamics, customer buying behaviour, purchasing platforms and competitors’ activities.
- To identify key business trends and findings unique to the Region.
- To participate in local conferences and (joint) customer visits
- To own and manage any relevant agency partners
- To maintain CST Marketing mailbox with Marketing team members
- To execute administrative responsibilities. Examples include but not limited to monthly operational reports, expenses, and other operational requirements
- To complete other related duties as assigned.
Who you are and what you bring to the team...
- A bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline
- At least 3 years relevant marketing experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, and attention to detail
- Experience working with sales channels and distributors
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while managing competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Dutch (A2-B1)
Ideally, you have...
- Working knowledge of channel and B2B marketing programs
- Familiarity with WorkFront, HubSpot and Salesforce a benefit, but not required
- Working knowledge of adobe creative suite preferred, but not required
- Hybrid role: minimum 2 days/week in the office
- Willingness to travel (when required)
