Position Description:
As Testing and Reliability Engineer, you will help with tasks that will directly or indirectly improve the reliability of our hardware product. This will require working with multiple cross functional teams such as Software, Manufacturing, Quality and more.
Responsibilities:
- Execute device verification and validation activities to support firmware and hardware releases
- Conduct ongoing testing to ensure the optimal performance of continuous integration and continuous delivery of firmware
- Improve product reliability by performing targeted, rigorous and automated testing
- Perform investigations on RMA’s and NCR’s to identify root cause using correct methodology
- Identify corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) on pressing issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, R&D, Quality and Manufacturing, to validate design, process, and/or component changes
- Develop, implement and manage test protocols and test reports
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure testing and documentation are completed accurately
- Apply statistical analysis to assess risk of failures and evaluate confidence of potential solutions
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science or Engineering
- Experience with hardware/firmware testing
- 5+ years of industry experience in hardware/software testing and reliability engineering
- Preferred experience in medical device/healthcare product development or research
- Preferred experience with medical device product lifecycle, including risk management and verification/validation testing
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan. Compensation Range
$125,000 - $135,000 USD
