Who We're Looking For - B2B Copywriter

We’re seeking a creative and results-oriented B2B Copywriter who excels at crafting clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content tailored to both small businesses and enterprise audiences. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating content that simplifies complex technology solutions, empowers decision-making, and drives traffic and leads across business.org and clearlinkconsulting.com.

You’ll collaborate with SEO Specialists, Content Managers, and stakeholders to develop compelling copy that aligns with search intent, resonates with B2B decision-makers, and drives measurable results. This role requires exceptional research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write for various stages of the B2B buyer journey.

As the B2B Copywriter, your work will directly influence how small businesses and enterprise clients engage with our platforms. You’ll be instrumental in crafting content that empowers decision-makers, builds trust in Clearlink’s expertise, and drives conversions across diverse B2B audiences.

The Impact You Will Make 

  •  Research and Create High-Value Content: Research, test, and write content about products and services across multiple industries, including internet technology, business communication tools, cybersecurity solutions, and more.
  • Simplify Complex Topics: Write guides and resources that make technical concepts around business technology accessible, actionable, and engaging for diverse audiences, from small business owners to enterprise decision-makers.
  • Craft Conversion-Focused Copy: Develop high-performing CTAs, product descriptions, and landing pages that drive leads and conversions while addressing business challenges.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with the Content Marketing Manager and SEO Specialist to align content with SEO strategies, target keywords, and audience needs.
  • Develop Buyer-Journey Content: Produce top-of-funnel educational guides, mid-funnel comparisons, and bottom-funnel assets like white papers, case studies, and solution pages to address each stage of the B2B buyer journey.
  • Optimize Existing Content: Refresh outdated content to ensure relevance, improve SEO rankings, and better meet audience expectations.
  • Maintain Brand Voice: Adapt content to reflect the unique voices of Business.org (approachable, SMB-focused) and ClearlinkConsulting.com (professional, enterprise-oriented).
  • Use Data to Inform Strategy: Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and make data-driven updates to maximize traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.

What You Bring 

  •  Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience writing for B2B audiences, preferably in technology, IT solutions, or SaaS industries.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing B2B-focused content, including blog posts, white papers, landing pages, and solution guides.
  • Writing Expertise: Ability to craft clear, engaging, and actionable copy tailored to the needs of SMBs and enterprise decision-makers.
  • SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with on-page SEO principles, keyword integration, and writing for search intent.
  • Research Skills: Demonstrated ability to research complex topics and translate technical jargon into user-friendly content.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working with content managers, SEO specialists, and design teams to align content strategy and execution.
  • Productivity Tools: Solid experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity software.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure error-free, high-quality content.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: A track record of creating content that drives traffic, engagement, and measurable business results.
  • Other Considerations
    • 2+ years of experience in digital content writing, journalism, content marketing, or related field.
    • Experience using CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful), analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4), and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush).
