Now Hiring: Credit Analyst
We’re looking for a Credit Analyst who will analyze personal and business financials, create comprehensive loan approval packages, make recommendations to senior management and credit committees, monitor loan portfolio performance, and support reporting that helps guide sound lending decisions.
What You’ll Contribute:
Analyze Financials and Credit Requests
- Analyze personal and business financials for potential and existing loan customers.
- Evaluate financial documents, reports, causalities, and scenarios with strong logic, context, and attention to detail.
- Apply sound mathematical, analytical, and big-picture thinking to support lending recommendations.
Prepare Loan Approval Packages
- Create comprehensive loan approval packages that clearly summarize credit analysis and recommendations.
- Identify policy exceptions and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and organized.
- Present recommendations to senior management and credit committees with clarity and professionalism.
Monitor Portfolio Performance and Support Due Diligence
- Perform required monitoring of existing loan portfolio performance.
- Assist in the due diligence process for audits and exams.
- Handle customer, employee, and management interactions effectively and tactfully.
Maintain Reporting Tools and Loan Databases
- Maintain various loan-related databases with accuracy and consistency.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Power BI to create, update, and analyze loan reports.
- Complete assignments with limited oversight while exercising sound judgment on when to ask questions or escalate.

What makes a stand-out candidate:
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance.
- Prior banking experience preferred.
- Experience analyzing financial documents and reports.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing with the ability to interact effectively across customers, employees, and management.
- Experience Microsoft Excel skills required; Microsoft Power BI skills preferred.

Banking & Fintech Acumen - You understand banking, credit analysis, loan documentation, and portfolio monitoring, or you are eager to deepen that expertise quickly. You can interpret financial reports and legal or credit documents, identify policy exceptions, and connect detailed financial information to the broader lending picture.
Tech-Forward and Analytical Thinking - You learn tools quickly and leverage technology to create efficiencies. You bring strong Microsoft Excel skills and are comfortable using or learning Microsoft Power BI to maintain databases, build loan reports, and support data-informed credit decisions.
