About the Role

The Senior Manager, Procurement is responsible for leading and overseeing all procurement activities across the company, ensuring efficient, standardized, and scalable processes that support operational excellence and long-term growth.

As a senior leader, you will drive cost efficiency, strengthen supplier partnerships, and implement best-in-class procurement practices across all categories—parts, services, and indirect spend. You will also lead the design and optimization of procurement systems and workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements. This position plays a critical role in enabling financial discipline, operational reliability, and business scalability.

Key Responsibilities

    • Own and manage the end-to-end procurement function across the company, including parts, services, indirect goods, and strategic vendor partnerships.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive company-wide procurement strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Establish procurement policies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards to ensure transparency and accountability.
    • Partner with executive leadership to align procurement objectives with broader organizational strategy.
    • Establish national policies, processes, and KPIs for parts operations and inventory management.
    • Develop and implement a national parts strategy to streamline purchasing, inventory control, and distribution across all locations.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast parts demand and ensure sufficient stock levels without overcapitalizing inventory.
    • Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives, including supplier negotiations and bulk purchasing programs.
    • Ensure optimal inventory levels and implement standardized practices for tracking, auditing, and replenishing stock.
    • Oversee the development and rollout of inventory management systems and ensure proper staff training.
    • Analyze inventory data across all facilities to identify trends, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities.
    • Establish and manage national vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements for cost efficiency.
    • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
    • Work closely with the Service, Sales, and Operations teams to align parts availability with service requirements.
    • Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage parts budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
    • Regularly monitor and report on key performance metrics (inventory turnover, parts availability, supplier performance, etc.).
    • Present national-level performance reports and improvement plans to senior leadership.
    • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of procurement systems (ERP, MRP, P2P tools) and ensure seamless integration with finance, operations, and supply chain systems.
    • Standardize procurement workflows, approval processes, and reporting mechanisms across all business units.
    • Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making, monitor supplier performance, and identify efficiency opportunities.
    • Ensure effective training and change management to support the adoption of procurement systems and best practices.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team at the corporate level.
    • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with facility-level managers to ensure alignment and adherence to procurement policies and processes, without direct reporting responsibility.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the function.
    • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to strengthen procurement expertise across the company.
    • Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage company-wide procurement budgets.
    • Track and report on procurement KPIs (e.g., spend under management, cost savings, supplier performance, compliance rates).
    • Drive cost-optimization initiatives, including category management, strategic sourcing, and bulk purchasing programs.
    • Ensure procurement practices contribute to improved profitability and operational resilience.

What We're Looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing, with at least 5 years in a senior, multi-location leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in procurement strategy, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and inventory management systems (ERP/MRP/P2P platforms).
  • Demonstrated success in implementing scalable procurement processes and leading system rollouts.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational execution.
