About the role:

As the Field Operations & Logistics Manager for Nova Scotia, you’ll own the end-to-end operational execution that keeps Clutch moving. You’ll oversee day-to-day logistics, fleet management, and local field operations — ensuring every vehicle meets our high quality standards and every customer receives a seamless, on-time delivery experience.

You’ll lead a motivated team of Field Specialists, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. As the key liaison between our centralized operations, customer support, and on-the-ground teams, you’ll play a critical role in aligning strategy with execution — driving operational excellence, optimizing workflows, and ensuring customer delight across the Maritimes.

What You'll Do:

Operational Leadership

  • Manage daily field operations in the Maritimes market — including vehicle intake, inspections, storage, logistics, and delivery.
  • Oversee logistics coordination to ensure timely vehicle movement between facilities, customers, and partners.
  • Maintain operational KPIs such as turnaround time, delivery efficiency, and quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with central operations, supply chain, and reconditioning teams to forecast workload and optimize capacity.

Team Management

  • Lead and motivate a field operations team of Field Specialists and drivers.
  • Set clear expectations, track performance, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to support Clutch’s growth.

Logistics & Process Optimization

  • Design and refine logistics workflows to reduce costs and improve throughput.
  • Partner with third-party logistics providers and vendors to scale operations effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, vehicle safety standards, and Clutch’s operational policies.

Customer Experience & Quality

  • Own the last-mile experience — ensuring every vehicle is delivered on time and in top condition.
  • Act as the local escalation point for operational or delivery issues, ensuring prompt and customer-first resolutions.
  • Partner with the customer success and sales teams to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, field operations, or fleet management
  • Relentless desire for winning and high performance on the team
  • Comfortable with tech-enabled processes and proficient in using software tools such as Google Sheets, AirTable etc.
  • You have an ownership mindset where you are end responsible for the results of your team and no excuses
  • Flexible schedule and are open to working some evenings and weekends
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
