Who you’ll be working with

We build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.

What you’ll be doing

• Directly oversee and manage a global QA team with diverse backgrounds supporting QA development.
• Defining QA processes that balance business criticality with delivery timelines.
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities.
• Defining and delivering software quality and defect metrics across the project portfolio.
• Managing and allocating QA resources based on project needs.
• Creating detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Designing, developing, and executing test automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Move between organizational and tactical execution including providing hands-on support when needed to QA team members in test planning, test case management, and test execution.
• Liaising with internal teams to identify non-functional technical application and system requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting systemic or recurring patterns of software defects
• Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Work with stakeholders across multiple disciplines at different levels to build solutions using a combination of skills development, metrics, hiring, test strategy creation, data, and tooling to solve a wide range of problems.
• Create and refine training materials to improve the testing abilities of our QA team members while also coaching them to work more effectively.
• Establish and grow QA KPIs that reflect quality indicators for all project teams.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

• 10+ years of verifiable experience in software development and software quality assurance
• Proficiency with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or  Selenium
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance, load, and security testing
