The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Lead to oversee a portfolio of clients within the Health, Beauty, and B2B verticals. This is a senior leadership role responsible for steering integrated marketing strategies across paid media, e-retail marketplaces, ecommerce, and creative channels. You’ll be the cornerstone of client success—balancing visionary leadership with hands-on business management.

As a Business Lead, you will shape strategic client roadmaps, inspire multi-disciplinary teams, and drive portfolio growth by fostering deep partnerships rooted in business impact, and, you will be part of our Agency Leadership team. You will also serve as a subject matter expert across industry trends, emerging platforms, and performance-driving tactics for your clients and your Code3 team. 

What you’ll do:

Business Leads at Code3 ensure high client and employee retention, focus on growing revenue within their portfolio of accounts through both organic growth and successfully onboarding new clients. They strive to become vertical industry domain experts across all our service offerings. Their strong leadership drives their teams to manage client expectations and exceed performance goals.

Client & Business Leadership

  • Own and expand strategic partnerships across a portfolio of high-value clients through sponsorship of accounts.
  • Collaborate with our Growth team on leading new business pitches within the Health, Beauty, and B2B verticals,
  • Lead integrated media, creative, and commerce engagements across paid social, search, programmatic, and marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart).
  • Deliver proactive insights and thought leadership to guide client growth amidst evolving market landscapes.
  • Collaborate with cross-agency partners and internal teams to deliver seamless, omnichannel strategies.
  • Oversee business operations, including forecasting, budgeting, contract oversight, and performance analysis.
  • Drive revenue growth through organic expansion and new business opportunities.

People & Team Leadership

  • Mentor and develop direct reports across client partnerships while guiding cross-functional teams (Creative, Activation, Strategy).
  • Promote a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous learning.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, learning workshops, and capability-building initiatives.

Vertical & Market Expertise

  • Serve as the expert voice of Health, Beauty, and B2B verticals—developing competitive intelligence and performance benchmarks.
  • Partner with Practice Leads to align solutions with evolving client needs.
  • Pilot and scale successful strategies across clients through a test-and-learn mindset.

You should have:

  • 10+ years in digital marketing, preferably in an agency or brand-side leadership role.
  • Proven experience across retail marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart) and paid media channels.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling business growth, team leadership, and client satisfaction.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and profitability.
  • Experience within Health, Beauty, and/or B2B verticals strongly preferred.

Salary Information: The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 and is commensurate with candidate experience and location. The position also offers a bonus based on company and client success.
