About the Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will own the technical health and architectural evolution of mission-critical cross-platform mobile applications. You will act as the primary anchor for React Native architectures, ensuring high-performance user experiences and seamless API integrations across both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires an autonomous mindset to navigate diverse mobile codebases, provide clarity through documentation, and drive technical excellence throughout the mobile delivery lifecycle. Your success is measured by app stability, the proactive management of technical debt, and your ability to mentor and elevate the mobile engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Execution: Lead the development of robust cross-platform applications using React Native, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• UI/UX Implementation: Build fluid, responsive, and accessible mobile interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences on various screen sizes.
• API & Integration: Design and evolve seamless RESTful or GraphQL integrations to power mobile features and automate client-facing workflows.
• Native Bridges: Manage and implement native modules or bridges when required to access platform-specific functionality.
• Team Influence: Elevate team output through deep code reviews, technical mentorship of mid-level and junior engineers, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• React Native Stack: Advanced proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern state management (Redux, Context API, or React Query).
• Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of iOS and Android deployment processes (App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
• Mobile Performance: Experience with mobile-specific optimization, offline storage, and threading.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deep understanding of Git and mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, App Center, or Bitrise).
• Communication: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) for collaboration with US-based clients.
• Environment: Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.
