Commvault is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect with a minimum of 10 years of hands‑on expertise in large enterprise Identity Management and Cyber Resilience. This role requires deep technical mastery of data protection platforms, modern identity management solutions/ecosystems, and large‑scale architecture design. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor capable of guiding customers, partners, and internal teams through complex solution design, sizing, and deployment across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

 

What you’ll do…

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, designing comprehensive identity management and cyber resilience architectures that align with business continuity and disaster recovery objectives
  • Develop and evangelize best practices for protecting and recovering critical identity infrastructure (including Active Directory, EntraID, Okta, and other IAM platforms) from ransomware, cyber attacks, and disaster scenarios
  • Design and validate cyber resilience strategies incorporating data protection solutions, immutable backups, air-gapped copies, clean room recovery environments, and automated runbook execution
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to assess their current identity management posture, recovery capabilities, and resilience gaps
  • Architect tailored recovery solutions leveraging Commvault and complementary technologies to meet customer-specific RPO/RTO requirements for identity systems
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and technical workshops that demonstrate the business value of robust identity protection and rapid recovery capabilities
  • Orchestrate and deliver compelling proof of value (POV) and proof of concept (POC) engagements that demonstrate Commvault’s identity recovery and cyber resilience capabilities, including live demonstrations of Active Directory forest recovery, EntraID audit and restoration, and ransomware recovery scenarios, with measurable outcomes.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to internal teams and customers on implementing identity backup, restoration testing, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Develop reference architectures, implementation guides, and runbooks for identity recovery scenarios across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Mentor technical staff and customers on navigating complex edge cases, architectural trade-offs, and competitive differentiation in the cyber resilience landscape
  • Stay current with emerging threats, recovery techniques, and industry frameworks related to identity resilience and cyber recovery
  • Contribute to product roadmap discussions based on field observations and customer requirements for identity protection capabilities
  • Represent the organization at industry events, webinars, and customer forums as a subject matter expert in identity resilience

 

Who you are...

 

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and recovering enterprise identity management systems (Active Directory, Azure EntraID, Okta, or similar platforms)
  • Proven expertise in cyber resilience and disaster recovery architectures, including air-gapped backups, immutable storage, clean room environments, and recovery automation
  • Deep technical knowledge of data protection platforms (Commvault experience strongly preferred) and their integration with identity infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience with backup and recovery strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud identity environments
  • Strong understanding of ransomware attack vectors, cyber incident response, and recovery methodologies specific to identity systems
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks related to data protection and business continuity (DORA, NIST, ISO 22301, etc.)
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape in identity protection, backup/recovery solutions, and cyber resilience platforms
  • Proven ability to engage with C-level executives and technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business value
  • Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to create compelling technical content
  • Demonstrated success in architect or principal consultant roles with enterprise customers
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience navigating complex technical edge cases and customer objections

Pay Range

$123,250 - $224,250 USD
