This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Lakeville, MN.

The contributions you will make: 

This position is a visionary leader responsible for setting the strategic direction and long-term vision for a portfolio of products. The incumbent conducts advanced market analysis, anticipating industry trends, and defining comprehensive product strategies that align with organizational objectives. Collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver innovative products that lead market segments and drive substantial business growth. Oversees the entire product lifecycle, focusing on strategic impact and thought leadership, while mentoring other product management professionals.

A typical day: 

Product Strategy and Development

  • Oversees the strategic development and enhancement of products, ensuring prioritization aligns with long-term business goals and client needs.
  • Evaluates and define optimal placement and integration of products within the digital ecosystem to maximize functionality and strategic impact.
  • Leads the planning and execution of significant functional changes to improve user experience, utilizing advanced competitive analysis to guide design decisions.
  • Develops and steers comprehensive product roadmaps, integrating insights from market research, client feedback, and business imperatives.
  • Ensures collaboration with internal development teams to meet strategic business results and timelines.

Integrated Product Leadership

  • Leads collaboration with other associations and advocate for shared needs and alignment with strategic product strategies. 
  • Conducts strategic product reviews, utilizing data-driven metrics for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
  • Leads and mentors cross-functional teams spanning development, marketing, sales enablement, and data analytics to ensure cohesive and strategic product execution. 
  • Strategically coordinates with sales teams to understand platform usage in client engagement and refine features to align with sales strategies.
  • Develops and oversees metrics to measure product usage, adoption, and ROI for informed strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborates with the Client Care Team to ensure product support needs are met, maintaining high client satisfaction.

Business and Client Value Realization

  • Develops, prioritizes, and tracks strategic business needs or "jobs to be done" (JBTD) across multiple business units to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assesses and communicates the strategic value of each JTBD across client segments, ensuring stakeholders understand the impact and benefits of product initiatives. 
  • Identifies significant opportunities to expand digital usage, aiming to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty through targeted innovations.
  • Strategically manages technical debt alongside new feature development to ensure long-term product sustainability and continuous improvement. 

Data and Analytics Integration

  • Collaborates with data teams to incorporate relevant datasets into platform capabilities for strategic insights.
  • Develops and implements advanced strategies for data integration from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and relevance.
  • Works with analytics teams to implement advanced visualization tools and identify strategic opportunities to enhance product value through data insights. 

The skills and experience we prefer you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum of 10 years of product management experience, with a proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and managing complex product portfolios.
  • Experience in an agriculture and/or financial institution, preferred. 
  • Expert skill managing financial products including on-line banking, invoicing, payment.
  • Expert experience managing large-scale projects and complex product ecosystems.
  • Expert analytical and strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies, and familiarity with agile development practices.
  • High learning agility with demonstrated ability to apply past experiences and learnings successfully in new situations.
  • Demonstrated ability leverage values-based leadership to shape and influence culture; able to lead in a hybrid work environment.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
  • Valid driver’s license.

How we will take care of you:

Our job titles may span more than one career level (associate, senior, principal, etc.). The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.

 

Base Pay

$115,000 - $175,600 USD
