A quick snapshot…

As a Information Systems Engineer on our IT team, you’ll play an important role in deploying, monitoring, and supporting our key IT infrastructure, network services, and applications. You’ll provide complex technical support to ensure the availability and functionality of our systems and tools.

As Conga continues to grow, our IT team plays a pivotal role in moving forward and transforming our organization with many high-profile projects. You’ll be involved in those projects to bring efficiencies, ease, and improvements to our systems and processes.   

Are you the person we’re looking for?  

Related experience. You’ve done it before and can do it again. You have a minimum of five years experience with identity management (i.e., permissions, policies, authentication/replication), networking (i.e., VPN, DHCP, wireless), Microsoft Server, Windows OS, and Cloud Platforms (i.e., Azure, Office 365, AWS). You understand the concepts and use your knowledge to maintain various systems and troubleshoot issues when they arise.

Strong troubleshooting skills and logic-based thinking is your forte. This is an absolute must. Your proven ability to analyze and apply logical thinking to determine the root cause of an issue is fundamental to success in this role. Your experience has prepared you to effectively investigate technical issues and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolutions that are in line with the business needs.

Confident and deliberate communicator. You have a point of view and you’re completely comfortable defending it to any person or group, regardless of level or status. It’s a confidence that comes from experience. And that’s not to say you aren’t open to different views; but, when you feel strongly about a particular matter, you don’t give up easily. You’re at ease with lively debate, in fact, you welcome it. Your points are clear and concise. And you’re equally as respected for your knowledge and expertise as for your style and approach. 

Resourceful & Collaborative. At Conga, we achieve together-- when you have questions, you find answers; when you’re faced with challenges, you find solutions. You turn to a variety of resources, including your colleagues, professional network, Internet, articles, books -- whatever helps you get the job done. Then you apply that knowledge across the business where it makes sense.  

Willingness to work outside of business hours. Let’s face it – issues arise at inopportune times. There might be times support is needed after hours or at weekends and we need to be able to support our global teams.

Initiative. You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce a project that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you put a proposal together, talk to the team about it, and own it. And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirit.  

Certifications. Previous training or formal certifications in information systems would be a plus. This could include but is not limited to Microsoft Security, Fortinet Network Security, Azure, and AWS.
