A quick snapshot

As a Staff Salesforce Developer at Conga, you’ll serve as a technical anchor for our Salesforce platform—owning solution design, development, and platform strategy across Sales Cloud and our broader Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. You’ll work across the full customer lifecycle, partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and IT to build scalable, high-performing solutions that drive revenue operations. From data models and integrations to automation and governance, you’ll help ensure Salesforce remains a reliable, efficient, and future-ready platform for the business.

Why it’s a big deal…
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our systems not only support the business—but actively accelerate it. Your work will directly impact pipeline velocity, quote turnaround time, revenue forecasting accuracy, and overall customer lifecycle efficiency. You’ll help shape the architecture and standards that enable scale, reduce technical debt, and create a seamless experience across our Quote-to-Cash journey.

Here’s what we’re looking for…

Salesforce expertise. You’ve spent 5–8+ years building and scaling Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments. You bring deep expertise in Sales Cloud, including core objects and processes like Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Forecasting, Quotes, Orders, and renewals. You understand how these pieces fit together to support end-to-end revenue operations.

Technical depth. You’re hands-on and confident working across Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, APIs, and asynchronous processing. You don’t just build solutions—you design them thoughtfully, ensuring performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Solution design. You translate business needs into well-architected solutions. Whether it’s defining data models, automation strategies, integrations, or security frameworks, you think holistically about how everything connects—and how it will scale.

Integration mindset. You’ve designed and supported complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems like ERP, billing, marketing automation, and customer success platforms. You’re familiar with middleware tools like Workato, MuleSoft, or similar, and understand how to establish reliable, efficient data flows.

Ownership & leadership. You take end-to-end ownership of your work. You lead technical design discussions, provide clear guidance, and mentor others on best practices. You’re comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

DevOps & governance. You’ve worked within structured Salesforce DevOps environments, including CI/CD, source control, release management, and sandbox strategies. You help define and enforce development standards that improve quality and consistency across the platform.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Quote-to-Cash experience. You’ve supported Quote-to-Cash processes, including configurations related to CPQ, CLM, or similar platforms—ideally with Conga products. You understand how quoting, ordering, contracting, and renewals connect within a revenue system.

Architecture perspective. You think beyond individual features and consider the broader system. You can balance short-term needs with long-term scalability, minimizing technical debt while enabling business speed.

Quality oriented. You take pride in building clean, maintainable solutions. You implement processes—like code reviews and testing practices—that ensure reliability and reduce defects in production.

Resourceful & collaborative. You’re not afraid to dig in, ask questions, and find answers. You partner effectively across teams and bring others along with you, helping elevate the overall technical maturity of the organization.
