Production Manager (Print & Design)

Memphis, TN (onsite)

This role will primarily focus on print and design efforts.
 
Brand Creative + Content team needs production management support for high-volume creative projects across multiple mediums. This role is essential to ensure timely and cost-efficient execution of projects developed by the Creative + Content teams.
 
Essential Job Functions
Include planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, and production oversight, as well as processing vendor paperwork and managing timelines.
The contractor will serve as a key liaison between creative teams (design, writing, photography, video), marketing, legal, finance, and external vendors to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards.
This role will work closely with internal ALSAC operations, Strategic Sourcing, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure compliance and cost control. This position will help mitigate delays, reduce operational bottlenecks, and maintain the high level of quality and timeliness required for brand initiatives.
 
Requirements
Experienced in managing high volume of work with tight deadlines and budgets.
Organized, taking initiative, ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise good judgement.
Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a bachelor’s degree in video production, graphic design, advertising, or related field with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience in advertising, marketing and/or printing agency
Creative project management/creative work experience required.
Experience supporting creative teams (either agency or in-house teams)
Experience heavily leaning towards design print.
Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between marketing, creative/design teams, and external vendors to translate creative concepts into executable print solutions.
 
Tools and Technology
Project management tools (Confluence, Jira, Smart sheet or similar platforms).
Asset or workload management systems such as Adobe work front, Ziflow, DAM (digital asset management) systems
Procurement systems such as Oracle a plus or any purchasing software
Understanding and/or processing of legal contracts, working with legal and finance.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile
Creative project management
Understanding of design/print
Skilled at organizing and managing competing priorities
Able to be firm when driving deadlines while balancing flexibility and negotiation as needed
Key skillset would be someone who has experience supporting creative teams.
