We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically Senior Engagement Task Lead to provide senior-level program oversight for the Senior Military Engagement Platform (SMEP). This individual will serve as a key liaison between contractor personnel and Government leadership, ensuring support is received across all Combatant Commands (CCMDs) while maintaining the organizational flexibility needed to respond to shifting operational priorities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Information Operations) and cross-functional team leadership within a fast-paced, high-stakes national security environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuity of contractor support across all assigned Combatant Commands throughout the period of performance, proactively managing personnel assignments and workload distribution in response to evolving mission priorities.
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of subject matter experts, providing day-to-day direction, task prioritization, and performance oversight across diverse disciplines.
- Identify, assess, and communicate potential programmatic, resource, and schedule risks to Government and contractor leadership, with recommended mitigation strategies.
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with Government agencies, media organizations, regional stakeholders, and interagency partners to align messaging, synchronize efforts, and meet deliverable timelines.
- Coordinate personnel transitions, onboarding, and knowledge transfer to maintain operational continuity during staffing changes or priority shifts.
- Ensure all contractor activities comply with applicable USSOCOM directives, J39 policies, security protocols, and contractual requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a PMP/ PgMP certification.
- At least three years of experience within the last seven years directly supporting projects requiring working knowledge of J39 operations, issuances, and policies.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, with the ability to direct SMEs across diverse disciplines in a high-stakes, fast paced environment.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines, managing competing priorities, and delivering executive-level communications and publications to senior leadership on time.
- TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- At least ten years of experience leading the implementation of Information Operations (IO) related programs.
- Formal professional education and training in Psychological Operations (PSYOP) or Information Operations.
- Prior military service at the senior non-commissioned officer (E-8/E-9) or commissioned officer (O-4 and above) level, preferably within Special Operations, Information Operations, or Civil Affairs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Strategic Communications, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
