Operations Associate

Core One seeks an Operations Associate to provide administrative, analytical, and operational support across key Company functions, including Contracts, Financial Planning & Analysis, Security, and Information Technology. This position supports the execution of departmental priorities, contributes to process improvement initiatives, maintains operational records and reporting, and performs a variety of activities that keep the business running efficiently.

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, a genuine willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers broad exposure to operational functions, with the opportunity to develop deeper expertise in one or more disciplines over time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support operational activities across Contracts, Financial Planning & Analysis, Security, and Information Technology as assigned.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize operational records, reports, trackers, and documentation.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, personnel actions, visitor requests, access requests, and other administrative processes.
  • Assist with contract administration, including maintaining contract files, tracking deliverables, monitoring reporting requirements, and supporting document preparation.
  • Support Financial Planning & Analysis through data collection, report preparation, labor tracking, staffing analysis, and other analytical tasks.
  • Assist Security personnel with clearance administration, visit requests, training records, compliance documentation, inspections, and related activities.
  • Support Information Technology operations through asset tracking, account administration, inventory management, documentation maintenance, and coordination with internal and external support providers.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company, personnel, contractual, financial, and security-related information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Operations objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 0–2 years of professional experience in administrative, operational, analytical, or business support functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and business concepts.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Contract Management, Security Studies, or a related field.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000
