Maintenance Electrician

Reconcraft is seeking an Maintenance Electrician who can perform installation, repair and maintenance work for commercial buildings. Their duties would include leveraging testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues, inspecting various electrical components and adhering to local safety codes.   

 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Performing general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
  • Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
  • Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.

Requirements: 

  • Education/Experience:
    • High school diploma
    • Electrician degree from a technical college preferred
    • 2 years of experience in the electrical field
  • Required Knowledge/Skills:
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
    • Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability lift 50lbs.
    • Ability to work long hours, when required, to meet deadlines and other deliverables
