Director, GWAC/IDIQ PMO
Copper River Strategies is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director to lead our GWAC/IDIQ Program Management Office (PMO). This individual will play a key role in managing and scaling our portfolio of federal contract vehicles, including Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. The Director will be responsible for driving operational excellence, compliance, and effective customer engagement across multi-million dollar federal programs.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

Lead the day-to-day management and growth of the GWAC/IDIQ PMO in alignment with enterprise strategy.

Identify, track, and support the pursuit of task orders and opportunities across Copper River’s family of companies.

Develop and maintain standardized PMO processes, reporting tools, and best practices in compliance with federal acquisition requirements (FAR, DFARS).

Collaborate with Operations, Business Development, and Capture teams to support pipeline growth and program execution.

Serve as a primary point of contact with government customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Track program performance, including financials, schedule, quality, and risk across the contract vehicle portfolio.

Ensure timely and compliant submission of deliverables, contract modifications, and re-compete efforts.

Promote continuous improvement, scalability, and efficiency in PMO practices.
Essential Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

PMP Certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
Required Experience/Skills:
-
10+ years of experience in federal contract/program management, including 5+ years in a leadership or PMO role.

Demonstrated success managing GWACs/IDIQ vehicles such as GSA MAS, Alliant, SEWP, CIO-SP3, or OASIS.

Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and procurement cycles.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret clearance if required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting federal civilian and DoD agencies.

Familiarity with Alaska Tribal and Native-owned organizations.

Background in IT services, cybersecurity, or systems integration.

Proficiency with MS Project, EVMS, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
