Executive Product Lead

The Executive Product Lead will lead the implementation of a suite of CGAI products for a client and will manage the day-to-day delivery of key projects within the program.

The core expectation of this role is to collaborate with clients and agency partners to understand our clients' business objectives and deliver strategic, performance ready solutions from within the GCAI product suite, ensuring the highest quality of service standards are applied and the highest quality of work is delivered.

The Executive Product Lead will identify and solve obstacles through a deep understanding of how creativity, technology, data, automation and media coexist and will utilize an early-adopter mentality with regards to seeking out and implementing new technologies.

You Will:

  • Manage the development and implementation of a suite of 3D CGAI products
  • Define scope for large 3D CGAI projects based on creative concepts and recommend approach including
  • Ensure all 3D CGAI production compliance and best-practice processes are adhered to while maintaining a focus on mentorship
  • Serve as a 3D CGAI team representative in inter-agency team situations and client facing meetings
  • Lead the client’s 3D CGAI program and deploy and manage a team consisting of Product Managers from Coordinator through to Lead
  • Collaborate across internal disciplines and with agency partners and clients and bring 3D CGAI subject matter expertise to every table
  • Build internal teams and grow and mentor Product Managers and Product Leads
  • Lead client and interagency communications across multiple time-zones and regions
  • Learn from peers and leads; see every new brief and project as an opportunity to grow the skillset and pass that knowledge to the team
  • Work with innovation product leads and other disciplines to define the product suite’s technical evolution, integrating new technology and tools with a focus on what's best for the craft and the work
  • Build a structured onboarding and training program developed specifically for client’s 3D CGAI business needs to support emerging talent in building their skillsets
  • Maintain communication with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure project is on track while allowing project product managers to manage day-to-day
  • Ensure project product managers are maintaining client procurement processes including those that require cost consultant and/or client procurement team engagement
  • Ensure project product managers are working with Operations team to manage all project documentation
  • Ensure product managers are working closely with internal and client stakeholders to ensure all brand elements and design systems are upheld during the implementation of the product
  • Identify and flag legal risks associated with projects early and engage appropriate parties both internally and with client to assess and mitigate; maintain full understanding of all project risks and escalate accordingly
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and external partners with an open-door policy to collaborate on ways of improving 3D CGAI workflows and efficiencies

 

You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in an agency project/product manager or post-production producer position, with direct reports for at least 5 of those years
  • Experience with digital content creation, real-time development and virtual/hybrid production
  • High level of proficiency in content supervision, VFX and high-end rendering pipelines
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Strong understanding of the 3D/CGI production pipeline and Unreal Engine
  • Experience negotiating budget, scope, timeline, etc. and a focus on both client and agency alignment and collaboration
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members in innovative production methods, with a focus on digital deliverables (paid and owned channels)
  • Working independently with supporting key communication touch points to share information and direction with remote teams
  • English fluency in written and oral communication

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$165,000 - $175,000 USD
