Senior Project Manager (Technical)

San Jose, Costa Rica

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Delivery team. This role is critical in supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects, ranging from small to complex, across a variety of clients and industries. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining and scoping projects of varying sizes and complexities, leading cross-functional teams, and building strong relationships both internally and with clients. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

This role sits within the organization to support the Delivery discipline and may also provide mentorship and career development to emerging talent. Career development for this position is typically supported by a Project Director (or above), with flexibility depending on the account or location.

We expect our team to work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week.


You Will:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and business objectives
  • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and budgets across small to complex initiatives
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate across disciplines
  • Lead status meetings, client presentations, and stakeholder communications
  • Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Own budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting at both project and portfolio level
  • Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and pitch work, including scoping and resourcing
  • Seamlessly manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams
  • Ensure high-quality delivery while maintaining focus on business goals
  • Champion project management best practices, including timelines, risk logs, and change management
  • Mentor and support emerging talent within the team
  • Identify opportunities for account growth in partnership with Client Services
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Delivery discipline

You Have:

  • Proven experience managing small to large-scale projects (typically under $1MM budgets)
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing, including media and technology components
  • Experience managing integrated projects across multiple disciplines and stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Tenrox, Halo/Abacus)
  • Proficiency in collaboration and tracking tools such as Box, Jira, Confluence, and Teams
  • Strong skills in office productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote)
  • Ability to manage projects with technology components (apps, platforms, automation, etc.)
  • Experience working with media types (paid, owned, earned, social, video, audio)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in budget tracking and project health reporting
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and navigate challenges
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a plus
