Marketing Science Group Director

Chicago

As a Marketing Science Group Director, you will lead analytics across multiple client accounts, helping teams turn media, website, customer, and performance data into clear business direction. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can set the measurement vision, guide teams, advise senior clients, and connect analytics to real marketing decisions.

You will oversee media performance, website analytics, measurement strategy, reporting, testing, and data activation. You will also lead analytics managers and analysts, helping them grow their skills, strengthen their client presence, and keep dashboards from becoming a 47-tab mystery novel.

This position requires candidates to obtain a Level 2 Security Clearance in accordance with U.S. government regulations. As such, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible to apply.

Our new hires & employees are the future of our organization, and we want to set you up for long-term success.  In an effort to do so, we expect our team to work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week.

You will:

  • Set the analytics vision and roadmap across media performance, website analytics, measurement, and activation for multiple accounts.
  • Lead senior client conversations around performance trends, measurement strategy, optimization opportunities, and business impact.
  • Partner with media, strategy, creative, technology, experience, account, and project management teams to deliver integrated, data-informed solutions.
  • Oversee measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, testing plans, reporting approaches, and performance narratives.
  • Connect media performance, website behavior, customer journeys, and business outcomes into a clear view of marketing effectiveness.
  • Turn complex data into clear insights, strategic recommendations, and compelling stories for clients and internal leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, digital experiences, personalization, testing, and customer engagement.
  • Lead analytics managers and analysts, including staffing, prioritization, coaching, quality control, career development, and performance management.
  • Establish standards for analytical rigor, data quality, reporting consistency, and executive-ready deliverables.
  • Manage competing priorities across accounts while keeping teams focused, organized, and clear on what matters most.
  • Build strong relationships with senior clients, internal discipline leads, and cross-agency partners.
  • Stay current on marketing analytics, media measurement, privacy, first-party data, AI, automation, and emerging measurement approaches.

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, analytics, media, digital, consulting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading analytics or measurement teams, including direct people management and career development.
  • Experience overseeing analytics across multiple accounts, brands, business units, or stakeholder groups.
  • Deep experience in media performance measurement, website analytics, reporting, optimization, testing, and insight development.
  • A strong understanding of how paid media, owned digital experiences, customer behavior, and business outcomes connect.
  • Experience advising senior clients and executive stakeholders, including presenting recommendations and influencing decisions.
  • The ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and practical next steps.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching managers, developing analysts, setting priorities, and creating clarity for teams.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially with non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating across media, strategy, creative, technology, UX, account, and project management teams.
  • Strong judgment around data quality, measurement limitations, and when a number is meaningful versus merely convincing.
  • Familiarity with analytics, media, visualization, testing, and data platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, media reporting tools, tag management systems, and experimentation platforms.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving agency environment where priorities shift and the answer is rarely as simple as “the dashboard says so.”
  • A strong point of view on the future of marketing measurement, including privacy changes, first-party data, automation, AI-enabled analysis, and personalization.
  • Curiosity, collaboration, humility, and a practical sense of humor.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
