Growth & New Business Lead

New York

ArtBot, part of Critical Mass, is looking for an exceptional New Business & Growth Lead to join our team in New York.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the most exciting and innovative businesses within the Omnicom network. Sitting at the intersection of creative storytelling, technology, and high-speed algorithmic media, ArtBot is redefining how brands create and scale content—and we're just getting started.

As a key partner to the Managing Director, you'll have a front-row seat to how we position ArtBot in the market, develop compelling growth strategies, and win transformational opportunities with some of the world's biggest brands. You'll help build the foundations that power our future growth across the US and Canada, creating the processes, narratives, and materials that turn opportunities into lasting client partnerships.

This is far more than a traditional pitch management role. We're looking for a strategic storyteller, an exceptional organiser, and a growth-minded operator who thrives on bringing people together, building things from the ground up, and making a measurable impact. For the right person, this role offers genuine visibility, influence, and the chance to help shape the next chapter of a fast-growing business.

What You'll Do

Lead Winning New Business Opportunities

You'll own the operational and strategic engine behind our new business efforts, ensuring every opportunity is thoughtfully planned, expertly executed, and positioned for success.

  • Manage active opportunities from initial brief through to final submission and presentation
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning strategy, creative, technology, and account management
  • Develop compelling RFP responses and pitch narratives that clearly articulate ArtBot's unique value proposition
  • Keep complex projects on track, proactively identifying risks and driving momentum
  • Partner closely with our UK-based design teams to deliver high-quality pitch materials seamlessly across time zones
  • Present and lead smaller opportunities independently, while supporting the MD on larger, high-profile pitches

Shape the ArtBot Story

You'll play a critical role in defining how ArtBot shows up in the market and communicates its capabilities.

  • Build and maintain a best-in-class library of credentials, case studies, pitch materials, and proposal content
  • Create scalable frameworks and templates that improve efficiency and consistency across future opportunities
  • Translate complex technology and media capabilities into clear, engaging, and persuasive narratives
  • Continuously evolve our positioning to ensure we remain relevant, differentiated, and competitive

Drive Growth Through Organisation & Insight

You'll provide visibility and structure across our growth pipeline, helping leadership make informed decisions and prioritise opportunities effectively.

  • Maintain oversight of all opportunities across the US and Canada
  • Track progress, timelines, stakeholders, and next steps across multiple concurrent pursuits
  • Deliver regular pipeline updates and actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Support strategic resource planning and opportunity prioritisation

Build Industry Knowledge & Relationships

You'll become deeply embedded in the agency and marketing landscape, helping ArtBot strengthen relationships and identify new growth opportunities.

  • Develop expertise in agency holding company structures, procurement processes, and market dynamics
  • Monitor industry activity, new opportunities, and relevant market developments
  • Support leadership in preparing for key meetings and strategic relationship-building activities
  • Maintain a clear view of key stakeholder relationships across the broader Omnicom network

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution.

You may come from a new business, strategy, marketing, pitch management, or growth-focused role within an agency, media, ad tech, or professional services environment and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work under pressure.

You'll bring:

  • 5–8 years' experience in new business, pitch management, strategy, marketing, or a related discipline
  • Strong experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and competing priorities
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into compelling narratives
  • Experience developing proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and client-facing materials
  • An understanding of agency structures, procurement processes, and business development best practices
  • Confidence presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders and clients
  • The ability to create order from ambiguity and build processes where none currently exist

You'll thrive in this role if you're someone who enjoys both building and organising.

You're naturally curious, commercially minded, and excited by the fast-moving world of media, technology, and advertising. You take pride in producing high-quality work, enjoy collaborating with others, and understand that attention to detail can be the difference between winning and losing.

Most importantly, you'll be excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a growing business, influence how we go to market, and help shape the future success of ArtBot.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position.
