Ohio Early Intervention Service Coordinator

Do you have a passion working with Infants and Toddlers and ensuring they have the help they need to be their best? If so, the Early Intervention Service Coordinator role may be the role for you! The service coordinator position assists families of infant’s and toddler’s birth to age 3 with developmental delay or disability, with receiving coordination of early intervention services, while explaining parent rights and procedural safeguards are followed in accordance with Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. The service coordinator is the single point of program contact that explains and ensures all eligible services are coordinated within a set period of time. This position is responsible for working with an array of local providers to coordinate services that are identified for the child and family. This provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. Early Intervention (EI) builds upon and provides supports and resources to assist family members and caregivers to enhance children's learning and development through everyday learning opportunities.
With using our trauma informed approach, this position will be representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for mental health and recovery along with positive results as evidenced by utilization of outcome measures. These measured outcomes will be properly documented using accurate, concise and concurrent intel. This full-time position is Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional evening work if needed. No weekend or holidays hours.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a major field of study related to early childhood, as defined by personnel and supervision requirements in child and family studies, child development, counseling, social work, education or related field.
- Licensed in the state of Ohio with either LSW or LPC minimum.
- 2 years experience required
- Ohio Early Intervention Service Coordinator Credential is preferred, however, if the right candidate does not have this, we will provide this training upon hire within the first 90 days, employer paid.
- This position does require 35% travel within the Lake County area and so hired candidate must have an acceptable driving record of 4 points or less and must carry automobile insurance.
