Marketing at Crunchbase

As an Events Strategy & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various marketing events to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and enhance customer engagement.  This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills. This individual contributor role is perfect for someone passionate about product marketing and eager to make a tangible impact. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and execute a diverse range of events including conferences, webinars, and networking dinners
  • Manage event logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and timeline creation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product, and customer support) to ensure alignment and support for events
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, including email campaigns, social media promotion, and content creation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and event collateral.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and provide insights to improve future events.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during events, providing swift and effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record of managing successful events from concept to completion.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in event management software and marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Google Office Suite and other marketing software tools
  • 4+ years of experience in event planning and marketing preferably within the B2B Saas industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel will be required 25% of the time.

Salary Range

$100,119.80 - $117,788 USD
