About the Role:
We are seeking a sharp and resourceful Sr. Pricing Analyst to join our growing Pricing and Competitive Intelligence team. In this role, you’ll work closely with Planning, Merchandising, and Analytics to build and maintain tools, models, and dashboards that help us optimize pricing strategy and drive revenue. You’ll dive into complex datasets from across the business—menu scraping, transaction logs, inventory systems—and extract insights that help shape pricing decisions in an evolving cannabis landscape.
This role is ideal for a SQL and Excel savvy analyst who enjoys owning workflows, building tools in Excel or Omni / Power BI, and applying statistical thinking to real-world pricing challenges. Prior experience in CPG, retail pricing, or high-growth environments is highly valued.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain SQL pipelines that support pricing models, dashboards, and recurring reports
- Perform pricing impact analyses (e.g. elasticity modeling, comp benchmarking, margin sensitivity) for Retail and Wholesale.
- Own the structure and refresh logic behind Excel-based pricing tools and dashboards using Power Pivot and relational data models.
- Partner with Data and Analytics and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs
- Conduct A/B testing, pricing pilots, or retrospective pricing analyses to support business cases
- Develop and maintain pricing dashboards in Omni.
- Support ad hoc analytics for initiatives such as price pack architecture, promotional testing, or EDLP strategy
- Contribute to pricing segmentation logic, including consumer tiers, product roles, and pricing ladders
- Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and clear version control across pricing assets
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis role
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex joins, window functions, and CTEs
- Advanced Excel experience including dynamic modeling, power pivot, data models, DAX measures, pivot tables, and complex formulas
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Omni, Power BI, or Tableau
- Comfort working with large datasets and blending data from multiple systems (POS, menu scraping, ERP, etc.)
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts (e.g. elasticity, regression, significance testing)
- Good communication skills; able to turn complex data into actionable insights
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to build from the ground up
- Knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, or cloud-based data warehouse environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, etc.)
Nevada Hiring Range
$105,000 - $115,000 USD
