Senior Demand Generation Manager, Partners

Remote

About Customer.io

Over 7,500 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day. Customer.io powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on partner marketing leader to help scale our growing partner ecosystem — from technology integrations and agencies to marketplaces and regional programs. As our Senior Demand Generation Manager, Partners, you’ll build and lead go-to-market programs that drive real pipeline growth and revenue through collaboration with our partners.

You’ll work closely with our VP of Demand Generation, VP of Global Partnerships, and cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and product to design scalable programs that bring Customer.io’s partner vision to life. This is an opportunity to shape how we grow with — and through — our partners, and eventually build a high-performing partner marketing team from the ground up.

What we value

  • Collaboration over silos. You thrive on working across teams, building trust, and making partners feel like part of the crew.
  • Data with heart. You use analytics to tell stories and drive decisions — not just to report numbers.
  • Bias for action. You’re comfortable testing, iterating, and improving fast rather than waiting for perfect.
  • Clear communication. You simplify complexity and make everyone around you more effective.
  • Growth mindset. You see ambiguity as opportunity and are energized by building new things from scratch.

What you’ll do

Strategic planning & growth

  • Develop and lead our global partner marketing strategy, spanning technology, marketplace, agency, and regional partnerships (with a focus on EMEA).
  • Partner with the VP of Partnerships to identify high-impact opportunities and build go-to-market plans that drive mutual success.
  • Create quarterly roadmaps with clear KPIs, resource plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build scalable workflows to manage partner requests, campaigns, content, and events efficiently.

Campaign development

  • Design and launch targeted partner recruitment campaigns — from affiliate networks to marketplace integrations.
  • Develop clear, compelling “better together” stories that highlight the value of our joint solutions.
  • Manage multi-channel, multi-stakeholder campaigns that bring together internal teams, partners, and vendors.
  • Track and optimize partner-influenced pipeline using data-driven attribution and performance insights.

Marketing operations & analytics

  • Build reporting frameworks that surface partner performance, ROI, and roadmap progress.
  • Automate partner onboarding, nurturing, and activation workflows.
  • Create dashboards and predictive models to forecast partner pipeline and conversion.
  • Continuously refine processes for campaign launches, creative approvals, and partner marketing requests.

Collaboration & communication

  • Act as the bridge between marketing, partnerships, and sales — aligning programs that drive shared goals.
  • Partner with content, events, and brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and experience across all partner touchpoints.
  • Build strong relationships with key technology and agency partners to co-create campaigns and tell joint success stories.
  • Present results and strategy updates to executive leadership.

What success looks like

  • Pipeline impact: $4M+ in partner-sourced pipeline annually.
  • Partner growth: 50+ new, high-quality partners each year.
  • Campaign conversion: 25%+ conversion rate on partner recruitment campaigns.
  • Regional expansion: Successful launch of localized EMEA partner marketing programs.
  • Efficiency: 50% reduction in partner request turnaround time.

About you

You’re a data-driven marketer who thrives on building programs from scratch and seeing them scale. You know how to turn complex partner ecosystems into simple, impactful growth engines — and you love collaborating across teams to make it happen.

Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS partner marketing experience with a track record of driving measurable pipeline growth.
  • 3+ years in a senior or leadership role, managing projects or teams across marketing functions.
  • Based in EMEA, with deep understanding of regional market dynamics and partner landscapes.
  • Proven success designing and launching partner recruitment campaigns that convert.

Technical know-how

  • Experienced with PRM tools (Partnerstack, Allbound, etc.) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot).
  • Strong with Salesforce and comfortable building custom dashboards and attribution models.
  • Familiar with affiliate/referral programs and major marketplaces like AWS, Google Cloud, HubSpot, or Salesforce.

Leadership & mindset

  • Analytical and outcome-oriented — you use data to guide decisions and optimize performance.
  • Collaborative leader who builds alignment across functions and influences without authority.
  • Growth mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building from zero to one.
  • Confident communicator with presence at the executive and partner level.

Bonus points if you have

  • Relationships in the MarTech or customer engagement ecosystem.
  • Experience working with AI/ML or emerging tech partnerships.
  • Background in marketplace programs (AWS, Google Cloud, Salesforce AppExchange).
  • Experience scaling marketing teams in high-growth environments.

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
