At Datacor, we empower process manufacturers and chemical distributors with software that drives operational excellence. Our modern Cloud ERP platform is the financial backbone of these businesses—and we’re looking for a Product Owner focused on Accounting to help take it to the next level. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own the Accounting Roadmap: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Strategy, and Customer Success to define and drive the development of accounting capabilities within our Cloud ERP. 
• Advance Core Financial Features: Identify opportunities to improve general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, banking, and financial reporting modules. 
• Prioritize & Deliver High-Value Features: Maintain and continuously groom a feature backlog that enhances automation, financial controls, and usability for finance teams. 
• Bridge Finance Expertise and Technology: Translate accounting needs into clear, structured use cases and technical requirements for the engineering team. 
• Support Go-To-Market Execution: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and Support to ensure new features are understood, adopted, and well-documented. 
• Engage Users and Stay Connected to the Market: Work with customers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to ensure our accounting solutions meet real-world needs and compliance requirements. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with ERP or financial software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and operational finance processes.
• Familiarity with SaaS product development and agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyze problems, assess trade-offs, and communicate solutions clearly.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, QA, and product marketing.
• Preferred: Experience working directly with general ledger, AR/AP, or financial reporting systems in a product or implementation role.
