About the Opportunity:
Accounting Manager | $100-125k
David Zwirner is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. This role reports to the Global Controller. This position will be hybrid Monday-Friday, 10am to 6pm (on site 4 days/week). As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
What you’ll do:
- Assist Global Controller with the month-end, quarterly and annual closes.
- Administration of global corporate credit card programs, including Amex and Mastercard.
- Administration of expense management programs including Expensify, Ramp and Uber For Business.
- Manage review of expense reports and reconciliation of credit cards as well as enforcement of expense policies.
- Responsible for timely reconciliations including payroll, intercompany, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals and other general ledger accounts as required.
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Ad hoc analyses/projects as needed.
What we would like you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting .
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities and currencies.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS).
- Experience with expense management software (Expensify preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
