About the role:

At dbt Labs, our values have been the foundation on which we’ve built a company, and a movement. We are in an exciting time of growth, and we're looking for an experienced Executive Business Partner to come on board and support our Chief Marketing Officer. This person will operate with a growth mindset and play a crucial role in ensuring the executive's time is optimized, enabling them to focus on strategic decision-making and high-priority tasks while efficiently managing day-to-day responsibilities.

In addition, this person will get significant exposure to our business and will have extensive involvement with a variety of projects and tasks. They will be an extension of the CMO and their organization and will act with high integrity and discretion while anticipating the needs of the business using intuition and proactivity. We also believe in nurturing growth opportunities, and we hold great expectations for this individual to make an immediate and meaningful impact, paving the way for substantial career advancement within the organization

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Provide support to our Chief Marketing Officer, managing all of the complex elements of executive support.
  • This role will be responsible for attending team and leadership meetings, capturing action items and distributing to attendees post.
  • Handle travel coordination for the CMO including air and ground transportation, hotel reservations, and other travel documentation.
  • Maintain an efficient flow of information between all levels including internal and external contacts on a wide spectrum of plans and priorities.
  • Draft internal and external communications on behalf of executive.
  • File expense reports and track reimbursement status via Airbase (code, descriptions, uploading receipts, etc).
  • Plan/execute leadership off-sites and liaison with Finance and Procurement to make sure all departmental off-sites are within budget and oblige with company policy.
  • Provide general project support as needed including preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Travel up to 20% - 30% of the time, mostly US-based locations

You are a good fit if you have:

  • Minimum of 8-12 years of executive administration, bonus points for supporting an experienced Marketing leader in a high-growth, global environment.
  • Participated in a centralized executive support team, and for a distributed (remote) - first company.
  • Experience predicting, prioritizing, and assisting an executive’s workload by analyzing tasks and requests and mapping back to company and department goals.
  • Extensive technical skills and experience using Google Suite, Zoom, and Slack, Navan, and Airbase. You must be able to learn and move fast within dbt Labs.
  • Must be proactive and able to deal with ambiguity, prioritize own work and resources, and juggle multiple tasks in a manner transparent to the team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact autonomously with internal and external partners, on behalf of your executive and our company.
  • Strong program management skills and ability to prioritize and communicate cross-functional needs
  • A high degree of discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive material.
  • Strong attention to detail and exhibit precision.
  • A willingness to help out and most importantly, have fun!

    We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and where applicable, performance-based pay. Our Talent Acquisition Team can answer questions around dbt Lab’s total rewards during your interview process.

    In select locations (including Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Seattle), an alternate range may apply, as specified below.

    - The typical starting salary range for this role is:

    $118,000 - $143,100 USD

    - The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed is:

    $131,000 - $159,000 USD
