We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated ICT QA Engineer to support ICT and low-current quality assurance activities for a large-scale data center project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires strong technical knowledge of ICT infrastructure, ELV systems, structured cabling, site inspections, quality documentation, and coordination with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting QA/QC activities for ICT, telecom, ELV, and low-current systems on large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects, with a strong focus on structured cabling, fiber optic networks, containment, security systems, communications infrastructure, and testing documentation.

You will play a key role in ensuring that ICT works are delivered in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, project quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the implementation of the project quality management system for ICT and low-current works.
• Review approved ICT drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, material submittals, and project quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections for ICT and low-current systems, including structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, telecom rooms, racks, pathways, containment, access control, CCTV, security systems, BMS interfaces, and related installations.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with approved quality procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review and verify inspection requests, material approvals, test reports, cable test records, fiber testing records, installation checklists, and quality documentation.
• Identify ICT quality issues, installation deficiencies, defects, and non-conforming works and support the issuance and closeout of NCRs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, ICT/ELV engineers, vendors, commissioning teams, and project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support material receiving inspections for ICT equipment, cabling, racks, devices, and components to verify compliance with approved submittals and project requirements.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closeout of quality observations and non-conformances.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover readiness by ensuring ICT works are properly inspected, documented, and accepted.
• Participate in quality meetings, site inspections, progress reviews, and technical coordination sessions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection logs, punch lists, NCR trackers, test records, and closeout documentation.
• Assist in preparing regular QA reports, dashboards, and quality summaries for project leadership and client review.
• Promote a strong quality culture across ICT site activities by reinforcing standards, accountability, and timely issue resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of QA/QC, ICT engineering, ELV inspection, telecom infrastructure, or construction quality experience within large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, ICT Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Prior experience working on data centers, mission-critical, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects.
• Strong understanding of ICT and low-current systems, including structured cabling, fiber optics, telecom rooms, racks, containment, access control, CCTV, security systems, and communications infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing ICT drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, inspection requests, test reports, NCRs, punch lists, and quality records.
• Knowledge of applicable ICT, telecom, ELV, installation, testing, and quality standards.
• Ability to identify installation defects, non-conforming works, coordination issues, and quality risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Strong coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, client representatives, ICT/ELV teams, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Familiarity with Aconex, Procore, BIM 360, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or other document control and quality management platforms.
• Knowledge of data center ICT infrastructure, fiber optic backbone systems, network pathways, rack installation, testing documentation, and integrated commissioning requirements.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CQI/IRCA, ASQ, BICSI, RCDD, CCNA, or other relevant ICT/quality certifications.
• Experience working in a PMC, owner’s representative, or client-side project management environment.
• Previous experience working in KSA or the wider GCC region.
