Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager will report to the Director of Operations and Experience and be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and daily operations of the Training Center campus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team that performs daily repairs and maintenance including lighting, painting, workstation reconfigurations, furniture moves, and minor facility repairs.
  • Operate and maintain critical building systems: HVAC, BMS, lighting, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, hydrotherapy, and structural systems.
  • Oversee maintenance scheduling, work order systems, spare parts inventory, annual inspections, and facilities-related projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracted facility services, including landscaping, elevator maintenance, fire suppression systems, to name only a few.
  • Coordinate with city departments and other stakeholders on permitting and inspections.
  • Assess and prioritize maintenance needs to determine when to execute internal vs. outsourcing.
  • Source, hire, onboard, and manage staff, vendors, and contractors for repair and project work, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Employee Moves, Adds, Reconfigures of Workspaces in collaboration with the Experience Team​.
  • Implement and champion EH&S standards and practices.
  • Serve as the first responder in accordance with emergency response protocols, available across scheduled shifts.
  • Manage and review facilities budgets, monitor project and operational costs, and utilize software tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain and operate company vehicles used for facilities-related activities.
  • Track and in some cases manage Company Assets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and vendors. Identifying and resolving issues related to building operations and maintenance management systems. As well as providing excellent service to occupants of the facility and their needs.
  • 5 years + of progressively responsible experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Strong project management and ability to prioritize and scale projects and delegate tasks.
  • Strong working knowledge of large commercial HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems and protocols.
  • Proficiency in the use and maintenance of standard building hardware, fixtures, and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret, document, and implement OSHA regulations, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
  • Developing and controlling budgets, managing costs, and ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments and with external partners.
  • Experience with scissor lifts, forklifts; ability to obtain or maintain certification required.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. This position may require you to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hour as needed.
