This role is part of our Client Service team within our Creative & Growth marketing service. We deliver end to end data driven campaigns which foster both creativity and performance. Our specialty is creative, digital communications that drives performance, boost brand awareness, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Douglas, Aldi, Brother, Lieferando and more! Our team in Germany is the only agency that combines technology, creativity, media and data to really make our clients grow.

 

JOB PURPOSE

Account Directors lead on all the work we deliver for specific clients. We are looking for an experienced and talented Account Director for a portfolio of world class brands.

Working on projects end to end, Account Directors are responsible for building strong relationships with clients while overseeing the delivery of a wide variety of integrated campaigns. You will be required to manage client briefs, plan, assign, and review creative as well as manage the overall agency workload in partnership with the rest of the team.

You will be working closely with Media Experts, Data, SEO, Creatives, and other parts of the agency to ensure successful campaign deliveries.

Candidates must have experience managing teams and complex campaigns for brands and be calm and controlled in high pressure situations. Equally, experience with delivering commercial success in an agency model is important. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive strategic and sustainable client development and have a significant influence on the company's growth
  • Development, management and KPI-driven planning of complex digital client projects and journeys - you will not only focus on the profitability of your budgets
  • Communicative interface between our existing clients on the one hand and our cross-functional teams of creatives and strategists on the other
  • Presenting strategies, concepts and measures to clients and identifying unused potential
  • Coordinate a team of specialists to deliver against briefs to the highest standards 
  • Work on new business pitches as part of a wider pitch team
  • Onboard new DEPT® clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  • Develop annual strategies, identifying priorities for the year for clients
  • Oversee, project manage and work with teams to develop brilliant digital campaigns 
  • Ensure delivery of work is to the highest possible standard
  • Ensure constant innovation across all deliverables
  • Manage budgets for integrated campaigns
  • Seek new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Present work internally and externally

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Professional working proficiency in German with excellent English skills, capable of working with clients in German
  • Finger on the pulse for trends (social, cultural, gaming, music)  
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Focus on paid media channels for effective campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate with our channel specialist teams and strategy offering to ensure we are delivering and activating the best possible strategies for our clients.
  • Extremely organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You are ambitious with the ability to think strategically, contribute something new to the agency
  • Ability to work within short timeframes and meet deadlines with ease and efficiency, successfully managing schedules and priorities
  • Highly motivated to learn, grow and improve
  • Personable, approachable demeanor and motivating team player
  • Ideally, have an understanding of production and interactive processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superb planning and organisation ability
  • Ability to manage and develop client and supplier relationships
