This role is part of our eBay Inhouse team, where you will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within eBay.

JOB PURPOSE

This role sits in the eBay EU Brand team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering our editorial social activity to support eBay Live, our live shopping proposition. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of eBay Live social strategy in partnership with social lead and eBay Live team. Ensuring strategy is aligned with overall business goals and our broader editorial strategy 
  • Responsible for the delivery of all eBay Live editorial campaigns in partnership with broader eBay Live and social teams 
  • Responsible for the development and creation of relevant content in partnership with agency partners and eBay teams. Briefing and creating content to support varying levels of eBay Live activity. From seller led lives through to bigger partnership activity 
  • Community engagement - Lead agency partners in building and nurturing online community around eBay Live, fostering engagement and interaction 
  • Reporting - monitor and analyse performance of campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to optimise strategies and campaign performance 
  • Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure a cohesive approach. Liaising with the eBay Live business unit to ensure we are meeting their needs.
  • General support for DE eBay social owned channels/ always-on social across categories

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A driven, self-starter mindset with a passion for creative excellence and high-quality execution
  • Experienced working with a range of social platforms including Meta, TT and Snap. Deep knowledge of (paid) social media metrics/ KPIs and strong understanding of social media across platforms, including understanding the latest trends and how to leverage them for branded social content
  • Proven track record in delivering social campaign activity and strong creative skills - with specific experience developing social content 
  • Previous work with creative or media agencies—confident in briefing, coordinating & managing deliverables
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple workstreams and timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who thrives in cross-functional setups and fast-paced environments.
  • Must have strong proficiency in both German and English (C2+)
  • The Ebay office is in Dreilinden, this role is required in office 2-3 days a week.
