This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients.

JOB PURPOSE

We are searching for a Senior PM who will be dedicated to one of our largest EMEA accounts, delivered through a global, matrix set-up). 

This is not a traditional, client-facing “run every meeting” Project Manager role. Around 80-85% of your impact will be behind the scenes: designing, implementing, and continuously improving how our Project Managers and specialists collaborate so delivery is smoother, faster, and more predictable as the account grows. You’ll work closely with workstream leads and senior stakeholders, partnering to diagnose what’s working, what isn’t, and how we should evolve. You bring a constructive challenger mindset: confident enough to question the status quo, pragmatic enough to land change in a real-world environment, and experienced enough to bring teams along.

You will be building the structures and operating models that enable others make complex work run smoothly at scale, this includes but is not limited to consistent processes, clean workflows, reliable reporting, and scalable tooling.. You never lose sight of how teams actually operate day to day, and you elevate our ways of working across a major global account. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Drive team enablement and process excellence through sprint planning, structured communication flows, roadmap development, and optimization of PM tools and workflows to elevate delivery standards;
  • Partner strategically with the cross-functional teams to define processes, establish best practices and translate collaboration objectives into tangible action plans;
  • Act as the operational hub across a matrix of business groups, aligning ways of working and enabling workstream leads and project managers to collaborate efficiently.
  • Build and optimize backend PM infrastructure (e.g. workflows in tools like Asana, reporting frameworks, dashboards and briefing structures in tools such as PowerBI)
  • Identify inefficiencies and challenge existing ways of working, proactively proposing and implementing improvements that drive higher quality, clarity and outcomes
  • Provide indirect leadership and guidance to multiple project managers, ensuring consistent standards, documentation and best practices across the account;
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to manage operational risks, issues and dependencies, enabling scalable delivery as the account grows and matures;
  • Have a cross-functional role that requires a unique combination of operational acumen, process design, project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Significant experience in delivery operations, delivery excellence, PMO, program management, or senior project management in a fast-paced digital, marketing, media, or tech environment.
  • Proven track record of building project management ways of working (processes, frameworks, templates, reporting) from scratch or significantly redesigning them - not only operating within an existing set-up.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tooling (we use Asana). You can confidently configure workspaces, build templates, set up automations, and create portfolio-level visibility.
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets/Excel) to build practical overviews for budgets, capacity, timelines, and performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership: you can influence without formal authority and bring teams along through clear communication and pragmatic implementation.
  • Comfort working in a matrix with multiple stakeholders and workstreams, and enabling multiple PMs at once.
  • Demonstrated ability to create structure and process in fast-paced environments.
  • Expert-level proficiency with project management tools (we use Asana).
  • Extensive experience in scope management, sprint planning, and delivery timeline creation.
  • Proven track record as a team builder and enabler, with the ability to elevate team performance and establish workflows that empower rather than burden.
