We call this Team Intelligence: human-AI collaboration that breaks down silos, brings people back together, and frees you to solve bigger problems. Backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield with $150M+ raised, DevRev is trusted by global companies across industries.
The Role
DevRev is building the AI-native platform that reimagines how SaaS companies connect engineering to customers. As we expand into enterprise and regulated markets, we are looking for a senior product leader to define and drive the platform capabilities that make that expansion possible.
This is a high-impact, company-shaping role reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Platform. You will own the product strategy and roadmap for the enterprise platform capabilities that sophisticated customers require to trust, adopt, and scale on DevRev: compliance as platform, reliability as product, encryption and data residency, audit infrastructure, and the planning required to enter the US federal market through AWS GovCloud.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, security, reliability, and operations. You will bring structure to complex cross-functional work, turn scattered initiatives into a coherent roadmap, and help the company make disciplined, high-leverage investment decisions. You will not succeed here through positional authority. You will succeed by bringing clarity, judgment, and momentum to work that spans multiple teams and leaders.
You will start as an individual contributor with broad scope and visibility, with the opportunity to help shape this function as the company grows. This is not a compliance role and it is not a pure program management role. It is a product leadership role for foundational platform capabilities that matter deeply to enterprise and regulated customers.
We are looking for a principal or staff-level product leader with deep technical fluency, strong product instincts, and a track record of driving meaningful outcomes in ambiguous, high-accountability environments.
Why This Role Matters
Enterprise readiness is not a side project. It is a core strategic capability. The platform investments behind security, reliability, auditability, data governance, and regulated deployment models directly shape which customers DevRev can win, how quickly we can earn trust, and how effectively we can scale into more demanding markets.
This role is an opportunity to define that capability from the ground up. You will help turn enterprise and regulated-market readiness from a collection of important efforts into a durable product and operating system for the company.
The Environment You Are Entering
This is a focused, fast-moving environment. Success in this role requires strong judgment about what matters most, what should be sequenced later, and how to convert finite engineering capacity into meaningful enterprise capability. The right person for this role is energized by ambiguity, operates with high ownership, and knows how to turn complexity into clear decisions and forward motion.
What Success Looks Like
High-Leverage Prioritization
You know how to convert a long list of valid needs into a sequenced plan that produces real outcomes. You are comfortable making hard tradeoffs, narrowing scope, and aligning teams around what matters most now without losing sight of the longer-term platform vision.
Cross-Functional Leadership Without Authority
You are effective across organizational boundaries. You can build trust with engineering, security, reliability, and platform leaders, create shared context, and drive decisions in environments where success depends on influence rather than direct control.
Product Thinking Applied to Platform and Compliance
You understand that enterprise readiness is not just a checklist. It is a product. You can translate regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and operational realities into platform capabilities with clear outcomes, clear sequencing, and clear acceptance criteria.
Strong Technical and Architectural Fluency
You are comfortable operating in highly technical environments. You can reason credibly about cloud architecture, data isolation, encryption, access control, observability, reliability, and deployment models, and you can use that fluency to make sound product tradeoffs.
Operational Rigor and Execution Discipline
You bring structure to ambiguous, multi-quarter work. You know how to create roadmaps, milestones, dependency models, and operating cadences that help teams execute predictably without creating unnecessary process overhead.
What You Will Do
Own the Enterprise Platform Roadmap
Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for enterprise platform capabilities, including audit logging and data access trails, encryption and key management, data residency and retention controls, customer-facing trust features, and the platform investments required to make compliance more repeatable and scalable.
Shape DevRev’s Regulated-Market Readiness
Own the planning and roadmap for DevRev’s path into AWS GovCloud and related regulated-market capabilities. Partner closely with Security & GRC, Cloud Engineering, and platform leaders to align architecture, operational readiness, and delivery milestones.
Drive Reliability as a Product Discipline
Partner with SRE and engineering leaders to define how reliability is represented in planning, prioritization, and release readiness. Help establish a consistent framework for reliability targets, operational readiness expectations, and cross-functional accountability.
Create Cross-Functional Operating Rhythm
Build the planning cadence, dependency management, risk communication, and leadership visibility needed to execute cross-cutting enterprise platform work across multiple teams. Turn fragmented efforts into a unified plan with clear sequencing and measurable progress.
Translate Compliance Into Durable Platform Capability
Partner with Security & GRC to ensure compliance requirements are converted into scalable platform outcomes rather than one-off exercises. Help shape capabilities such as automated evidence collection, control-to-system mappings, and reusable guardrails that improve both readiness and engineering quality.
Help Shape the Enterprise Narrative
Contribute to how DevRev communicates enterprise readiness internally and externally. Help package platform investments into a coherent story that leadership, go-to-market teams, and sophisticated customers can understand and trust.
In the First 6 Months, You Will
- Deliver a phased enterprise platform roadmap that brings together work across reliability, encryption, auditability, data governance, and regulated-market readiness into a single sequenced plan.
- Define a practical operating model for DevRev’s GovCloud and regulated-market efforts, with explicit milestones, tradeoffs, and dependencies.
- Establish the core cross-functional planning cadence and execution rhythm needed to manage this work predictably.
- Partner with SRE and engineering leadership to define and begin rolling out a more consistent reliability and operational readiness framework for the services that matter most to enterprise customers.
- Create leadership-ready views of progress, risk, sequencing, and decisions that improve alignment and reduce churn.
This Role Is Not
- This is not a dedicated audit coordinator or compliance program manager role. Security & GRC owns the compliance program, auditor relationships, and formal evidence processes.
- This is not a generalist PM role for customer-facing application features. Your focus is the enterprise platform layer that underpins trust, scale, and regulated-market readiness.
- This is not an engineering management role. You will drive outcomes through product leadership, prioritization, technical fluency, and cross-functional influence.
What You Will Need
Experience
- 10+ years in platform product management, technical product leadership, technical program leadership, or closely related roles with clear ownership of cross-functional platform outcomes.
- A track record of leading multi-quarter initiatives across engineering, security, and operational stakeholders in scaling SaaS environments.
- Experience operating at staff, principal, or equivalent scope, where success depended on strategy, judgment, and execution across organizational boundaries.
Technical Fluency
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, ideally in AWS-based SaaS environments.
- Ability to reason about multi-tenant architecture, identity and access management, encryption, observability, data governance, incident management, and service reliability well enough to make informed product tradeoffs.
- Comfort working closely with highly technical engineering and architecture leaders.
Compliance and Enterprise Literacy
- Working knowledge of frameworks such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, or similar, sufficient to translate requirements into platform capabilities and engineering deliverables.
- Experience supporting enterprise platform, trust, governance, or regulated-environment initiatives is highly valuable.
Communication and Execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can produce clear PRDs, milestone plans, dependency maps, risk summaries, and decision frameworks for technical and executive audiences.
- Strong execution mechanics. You know how to keep complex work moving, surface risk early, and maintain alignment across many stakeholders without relying on heavyweight process.
Strong Additions
- Direct experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP Moderate or High, IL4/5, or related regulated cloud environments.
- Experience building or scaling compliance automation, evidence automation, compliance-as-code, or control-to-system mapping capabilities.
- Experience creating enterprise capability maps, trust narratives, or platform readiness frameworks used with customers or go-to-market teams.
- Experience defining release readiness, technical governance, or platform standards in ways that improved outcomes without slowing teams down.
- Experience operating in fast-growing startup environments where ambiguity was high and structure had to be built, not inherited.
Key Partnerships
You will work closely with SRE, Security & GRC, Cloud Engineering, platform architects, Developer Experience, and product leaders across the company. This role succeeds by creating clarity and alignment across technical leaders working on interconnected platform priorities.
