Your role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Design team, to support the evolution of our end-to-end experience across the Dialpad suite. You’ll partner with the Design and Product Management teams to scale our research practice, collaborating with them to make sure users are kept front and center in our product development process, ensuring that research efforts are strategic, impactful, and aligned with company goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, relevant Research experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing workflows and collaboration.
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in addressing opportunities for improvement in team research operations, with a specific focus on tools and software and knowledge.
This position reports to our Design Operations Sr. Manager and has the opportunity to be based in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office.
What you’ll do
Research Planning
- Assess research opportunities and needs across teams to identify impactful projects.
- Define and implement processes to prioritize research initiatives based on strategic goals and resources.
- Use data analysis skills to gather user data and product metrics, identifying opportunities for future research.
- Support designers and PMs in creating robust research plans, including participant selection, research type, and study logistics.
Research Execution and Advocacy
- Propose and manage User Research initiatives to foster ongoing engagement with key users.
- Support research initiatives within the team, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to design processes.
- Assist in conducting research projects, including moderated interviews, live observational studies, and mixed-methods research.
- Advocate for the value of user research by educating leadership, designers, and cross-functional teams and sharing success stories through varied initiatives
Cross-Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Establish and manage collaboration frameworks with Customer Success and Growth teams to streamline user recruitment for research studies.
- Partner with Designers and Product Managers to support research projects, including planning, milestone definition and success criteria.
- Develop and implement processes that encourage the sharing of insights, best practices, and lessons learned within the team.
- Establish effective connections with other teams to foster cross-functional knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Skills you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Research, Design or relevant field; Project Management certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Research, Design and Product Management processes and tooling, such as Figma and FigJam (Preferred).
- Proven experience in SaaS industry and Product Development (Required).
- Proven experience in project management (+5 years), particularly in a Research, Design or Product Management environment (Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com (Required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with expertise in documentation and a talent for building positive relationships (Required).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement (Required).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and excel in navigating ambiguous environments (Required).
- Strong organizational and independent execution abilities (Required).
- Ability to define new processes, programs and with demonstrable and consistent success (Required).
- Experience with SQL, Amplitude, Domo and other data analysis tools (Required).
