Responsibilities
Relationships between electrical and electronic circuitry, as well as the interrelationship of chemical, radiological, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, or gas components of a piece of equipment or a system.
Principles and theories governing the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment to diagnose malfunctions, and repair and test such electrical equipment as sterilizers, film driers, suction apparatus, and dental units.
Hydraulic systems, including their grips, locks, stops, and release mechanisms, can determine proper adjustment with no leaks.
Electronic symbols, color codes, descriptions, and manufacturers' numbers.
Electronic test equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, patient simulators, electrical safety analyzers, and other specialized medical Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Equipment such as micrometers and calipers to detect wear and misalignment of gears, cams, valves, and other mechanical parts, and the ability to use seat wrenches and pressure gauges when working on hydraulic systems.
Authorized Army Automation Systems, which include, but are not limited to, the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E), Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS), and other systems that are specifically authorized by the USAMMA M3D.
Repair medical equipment such as sterilizers, X-ray tables, operating tables, pressure breathing therapy units, respirators, and other mechanical assemblies using gears, shafts, and pulleys.
Select proper replacement parts, modification kits, and identify materials, mechanisms, and components of electrical systems.
Complete electrical test with equipment such as ohmmeters and test meters.
Interpret and apply blueprints, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, liquid/air flow sheets, technical manuals, and other specifications.
Assure that any person who works on any medical, dental, and diagnostic imaging system is proficient and thoroughly competent to perform work in Biomedical Equipment Technology maintenance.
Perform maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets that are returning from deployments, to include all maintenance actions: Technical inspections of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment.
Complete maintenance actions within a reasonable performance time. Maintenance actions include, but are not limited to, technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
As a minimum, BMETs shall be a graduate of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET) or have at least earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
Minimum three (3) or more years of experience as a BMET.
A background check will be conducted.
Possess the ability to pass a NACI background investigation and acquire a CAC.
Possess the ability to pass a NCIC investigation and scored credit check per federal and contractual requirements.
Must be a US citizen.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with the Department of Defense
Must possess knowledge of maintenance actions: technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.

Responsibilities
Review architectural / engineering designs and fire protection system shop drawings for over 50 buildings.
Conduct construction inspections and issue final occupancy permits.
Witness acceptance tests for fire alarm and sprinkler system modifications.
Evaluate existing building conditions through life safety and hazard analysis surveys.
Provide technical guidance using various NFPA codes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering
5 years of general experience and a registered Professional Engineer in Fire Protection Engineering
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust
Basic Compensation: $104,000- $114,000 yearly salary

Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, concise, and consistent with established style guides.
Update documentation to reflect changes in software, hardware, or processes.

Manage the entire documentation lifecycle, from planning and creation to review, approval, and publication.
Docs-as-Code Implementation & Management:
Version Control: Use Git (or other version control systems like Mercurial) to manage documentation source code (typically Markdown, reStructuredText, or AsciiDoc).
Branching & Merging: Implement branching strategies for documentation development (e.g., feature branches, release branches). Manage merge requests/pull requests.
Build Automation: Set up and maintain build pipelines (using tools like Make, Ant, Maven, Gradle, or scripting languages) to automatically generate documentation outputs (HTML, PDF, etc.) from the source code.
Static Site Generators: Utilize static site generators (e.g., Jekyll, Hugo, Sphinx, MkDocs) to create websites from documentation source files. Configure and customize the site generators to meet specific documentation needs.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Integrate documentation builds and deployments into CI/CD pipelines to automate the process of publishing updates.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Documentation: Manage the infrastructure required for documentation (e.g., servers, storage) using IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Contribute to Tooling: If the organization is building its own documentation tools or extending existing ones, contribute to the development and maintenance of those tools.
Security & Compliance (DoD Specific):
Adhere to all applicable DoD security regulations, policies, and procedures related to documentation, including:
Proper handling and marking of classified information.
Data security and access control.
Compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST 800-53).
Ensure that documentation accurately reflects security configurations and procedures.
Contribute to the development of security documentation, such as security plans, incident response plans, and vulnerability assessments.
Participate in security audits and inspections.
Be aware of data spillage prevention techniques when handling documentation.
IAT Level II certified
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation,procedures and guidelines for C4ISR or similar systems or equipment.
Active TS/ SCI clearance walking through the door.
Specific Experience
One (1) year of experience with DCGS-N, other C4ISR programs, or Software engineering program/projects.
Within 30 days of assignment, the individual should have or be able to obtain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II certification.
Individual should demonstrate knowledge and skills in scripting using Yaml, Python, or similar language; proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for CM automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar); Proficient in “Docs as Code” approach, writing scripts in Markdown, reStructuredText, or similar; proficient in using GIT for version control or similar.
