Overview
A Quality Control Specialist 4 conducts advanced diagnostics and repairs on Depot Level Repairables, supports resolution of Fleet CASREPs, and troubleshoots U.S. Navy electronics down to the component level. They help maintain repair parts inventory, develop and update testing methods and work instructions, document parts and labor, and perform cost‑effectiveness analyses on returned materials to ensure optimal fleet readiness.
Responsibilities
Provide technical evaluations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of Depot Level Repairables (DLR)
Provide technical support to resolve Fleet Casualty Reports (CASREP’s)
Assist with maintaining and updating Bench Stock Repair Parts
Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot USN electronics and subassemblies down to the component level
Develop/ update testing methods and equipment
Develop/ update work instructions for testing electronics
Accurately record parts required/ used and hours spent on modules
Perform Beyond Economic Analyses on Depot Level Repairables (DLR) material returned from fleet
Qualifications
High school Diploma, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate, or GED equivalent.
10 years of professional experience related to the field.
Must have electronics training from technical school, military school (class A or B electronics or Communications), or a 4-year apprentice program.
Ability to use a Multi Meter, Familiar with a Spectrum Analyzer, and an Oscilloscope.
Ability to use and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Ability to do soldering.
Desired: Previous depot-level repair experience, Secret Clearance, LabVIEW

Responsibilities
Review architectural / engineering designs and fire protection system shop drawings for over 50 buildings.
Conduct construction inspections and issue final occupancy permits.
Witness acceptance tests for fire alarm and sprinkler system modifications.
Evaluate existing building conditions through life safety and hazard analysis surveys.
Provide technical guidance using various NFPA codes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
5 years of general experience and a registered Professional Engineer in Fire Protection Engineering
Experience supporting healthcare and/or laboratory environments, including familiarity with chemical hazards
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Basic Compensation: $130,000-$142,000 yearly salary
The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
