Responsibilities
Relationships between electrical and electronic circuitry, as well as the interrelationship of chemical, radiological, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, or gas components of a piece of equipment or a system.
Principles and theories governing the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment to diagnose malfunctions, and repair and test such electrical equipment as sterilizers, film driers, suction apparatus, and dental units.
Hydraulic systems, including their grips, locks, stops, and release mechanisms, can determine proper adjustment with no leaks.
Electronic symbols, color codes, descriptions, and manufacturers' numbers.
Electronic test equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, patient simulators, electrical safety analyzers, and other specialized medical Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Equipment such as micrometers and calipers to detect wear and misalignment of gears, cams, valves, and other mechanical parts, and the ability to use seat wrenches and pressure gauges when working on hydraulic systems.
Authorized Army Automation Systems, which include, but are not limited to, the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E), Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS), and other systems that are specifically authorized by the USAMMA M3D.
Repair medical equipment such as sterilizers, X-ray tables, operating tables, pressure breathing therapy units, respirators, and other mechanical assemblies using gears, shafts, and pulleys.
Select proper replacement parts, modification kits, and identify materials, mechanisms, and components of electrical systems.
Complete electrical test with equipment such as ohmmeters and test meters.
Interpret and apply blueprints, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, liquid/air flow sheets, technical manuals, and other specifications.
Assure that any person who works on any medical, dental, and diagnostic imaging system is proficient and thoroughly competent to perform work in Biomedical Equipment Technology maintenance.
Perform maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets that are returning from deployments, to include all maintenance actions: Technical inspections of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment.
Complete maintenance actions within a reasonable performance time. Maintenance actions include, but are not limited to, technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
As a minimum, BMETs shall be a graduate of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET) or have at least earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
Minimum three (3) or more years of experience as a BMET.
A background check will be conducted.
Possess the ability to pass a NACI background investigation and acquire a CAC.
Possess the ability to pass a NCIC investigation and scored credit check per federal and contractual requirements.
Must be a US citizen.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with the Department of Defense
Must possess knowledge of maintenance actions: technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.

Overview
The Communications Engineer will provide technical evaluations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of Depot Level Repairables (DLR), L3Harris, and Motorola mobile and portable communication systems.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support.
Assist with maintaining and updating Bench Stock Repair Parts
Assist with repair demand planning for the Radio Program
Provide onsite technical assistance/support (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with Allowance Parts Lists
Conduct component-level repair of radio system PCB assemblies, including soldering.
Qualifications
Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience with task-specific projects, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: System Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in the relevant technical field.
Ability to perform tests on a variety of electronic equipment, including Tactical Radios such as L3HARRIS, communications equipment/systems, circuitry components, computer experience and proficient with test equipment.
Experience with AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-150, AN/PRC-117F, AN/PRC-160, MUOS, Multichannel Tactical Radios AN/117G SOTM and associated equipment. - Demonstrate expert experience using electronic test equipment such as (Signal Generators, Multimeters, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers)
Possess working knowledge of Power Amplifiers, Repeaters, and Communications Systems
Experienced Electronics Technician and Military trainer.
Active Secret Clearance walking through the door.
Desired Qualifications
Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) or military training experience.
Education Differentiator: Prior C5I technician with recent hands-on technical experience.

Responsibilities
Install, operate, maintain, and repair shipboard or shore-based electronic, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Perform system testing and troubleshooting to identify and correct equipment malfunctions.
Assist engineers and technical staff in system design, upgrades, and modifications.
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Document maintenance actions and test results in technical logs or databases.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Support equipment installations, including cabling, hardware setup, and configuration.

Qualifications
Education: Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program; or High School diploma or GED.
Experience: 12 years with a degree/formal training or 14 years with HS/GED of practical experience to include: design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Individual shall have notable experience performing one or a combination of the following duties: prepares designs and specifications for various complex equipment or systems (e.g., a heating system in an office building, or new electronic components such as solid state devices for instrumentation equipment); plans approach to solve design problems; conceives and recommends new design techniques; resolves design problems with contract personnel, and assures compatibility of design with other parts of the system; designs and coordinates test set-ups and experiments to prove or disprove the feasibility of preliminary design; uses untried and untested measurement techniques; and improves the performance of the equipment. May advise equipment users on redesign to solve unique operational deficiencies; plans approach and conducts various experiments to develop equipment or systems characterized by (a) difficult performance requirements because of conflicting attributes such as versatility, size, and ease of operation; or (b) unusual combination of techniques or components. Arranges for the fabrication of pilot models and determines test procedures and design of special test equipment. An individual shall be capable of independently planning and accomplishing complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity or serving as an expert in a narrow aspect of a particular field of engineering, e.g., environmental factors affecting electronic engineering. An individual may supervise or train and be assisted by lower-level technicians. Completed work is reviewed for compliance with overall project objectives.
