POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Partner Marketing will play a vital role in setting strategy and implementing partner marketing programs for Domo’s partner ecosystem. This experienced marketer will work closely with cloud data warehouses, channel partners, system integrators and solutions partners, to generate leads and accelerate opportunities in pipeline. He/she will conceive, plan and execute sell through, sell with and sell to strategies that align with the overall company and partner objectives and drive significant and measurable revenue growth.  Enhancing customer and partner relationships and inspiring the Domo internal community will be key objectives for the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing and executing partner marketing plans, programs and campaigns that build the sales pipeline, generate leads and accelerate opportunities for Domo and Partner Sales;
  • Analyzing and assessing current partner efforts and make changes focused on maximizing resources and exceeding target objectives;

  • Planning and orchestrating Domo’s participation in regional and industry partner events;
  • Developing creative marketing campaigns to capture the attention of Partner Sales teams and attract the attention of end user business executives and IT leaders;
  • Working with sales, product marketing, partner marketing and creative services to execute partner marketing plans;
  • Frequent, detailed reporting on partner marketing programs and their success against sales and demand generation objectives;
  • Building key relationship with the partner and Domo sales teams
    • Communicating with sales to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs and promoting a culture of accountability;
  • Managing third party vendor requests such as target list pulls, event briefs and speaker coordination;
  • Attending and assisting at partner and field marketing events like Domo’s user conference tour;
  • Coordinating partner event deliverables across teams (Global Demand Center, Sales, MOPs, etc.); 
  • Communicating and interacting with C-suite executives;
  • Learning and performing Marketing Operations processes, including Domo dashboards, campaign code creation, list uploads, and intake forms;
  • Create new partner process documents where needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;
  • B2B technology experience; Partner/ Partner Marketing experience a plus;
  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience;
  • Ability to identify effective marketing campaigns for partner and sales force success;
  • Experience in SMB, mid market and Enterprise demand generation;
  • Proven ability to successfully engage and activate partner teams and sales organizations;

  • Experience identifying target customers based on industry, use case or geo;
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Must be comfortable holding teams accountable and having productive but difficult conversations with stakeholders that move the the business forward when needed;
  • Strong analytical, reporting and written communication skills;
  • Rigorous attention to detail and focus on the quality of deliverable;
  • Experience with Domo is a plus;
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Critical and creative thinker who is always seeking better methods;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Google Suite, Asana and Zoom Weibinar;
  • Autonomous and self-starting, thrives in a virtual work environment;
  • Flexible attitude, and experience working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents in English.
