POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Analytics to lead and oversee all marketing analytics initiatives at Domo. This role will report to the Director, Analytics and will lead a cross-functional analytics team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to frequently communicate complex topics concisely and effectively with CXO’s and other executives. They will be highly adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while also leading and managing their team. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills to ensure our marketing efforts are data-driven and effective. This is not a remote role. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns & executes on all aspects of marketing analytics. [Data engineering, data accuracy, data strategy, visualization, interpretation, recommendation]; 
  • Advises on many aspects of marketing operations [MarTech stack, MAP, integrations, campaign structure]; 
  • Support cross-functional analytics requests as needed, primarily sales and marketing; 
  • Utilize a consultative approach with various business groups to gather requirements and fulfill requests;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all marketing analytics-related inquiries and projects;
  • Mentor and guide marketers & junior analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within Domo.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, with an emphasis in business, finance, data science, statistics, marketing, management, information systems, or related field; 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or a related role, preferably within a SaaS environment;
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Jupyter), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics);
  • Experience + comfortability working directly with executives; 
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively;
  • Experience with marketing analytics and related methodologies [e.g. UTM’s, attribution, MMM, cookies, funnel analysis, etc.]; 
  • Familiarity with formulation and implementation of operational processes. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Domo is strongly preferred; 
  • Previous experience leading an analytics team; 
  • Experience with advanced statistical modeling, AI, and predictive analytics;
  • Understanding of all major areas of the business and how they inter-relate [finance, HR, product, sales, marketing, etc.].
