
Business Intelligence Administrator (MajorDomo)

POSITION SUMMARY
This role is required to be in office 5 days a week.
For the first time in Domo’s history, we are hiring for a MajorDomo. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Administrator (MajorDomo) to join our team at Domo. This role will be responsible for managing our internal Domo instance, ensuring scalable content management, governance, security, user access, and the overall structure & deployment of our instance. As the "MajorDomo" of Domo, you will serve as the lead administrator for all aspects of Domo within the company, providing support, oversight, and guidance to ensure the platform is used efficiently, effectively, and securely across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Domo Platform Management
- Oversee the daily operations and optimization of Domo, ensuring the platform is running efficiently.
- Lead the setup, configuration, and customization of Domo to meet the business’s needs.
Content Management
- Manage & optimize all content within Domo.
PDP (Personalized Data Permissions) Management
- Implement and maintain data permissions to ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and organizational standards for data access.
Governance & Security
- Define and enforce governance policies and standards related to data management and Domo usage.
- Ensure proper security measures are in place for user access and data integrity, including periodic audits and review processes.
User Access & Administration
- Administer user access, roles, and permissions to ensure efficient and secure platform usage.
Organizational Chart Management
- Manage and update the Domo org chart, ensuring that it accurately reflects the structure of the organization for both reporting and access purposes.
Collaboration & Support
- Provide ongoing support for users across departments, assisting them with troubleshooting, optimizing, and ensuring the best practices for using Domo.
Reporting & Insights
- Provide insight into usage patterns, platform performance, and recommendations for improvements.
- Create regular reports on Domo activities, usage, and performance for executive and leadership teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Administrator, Domo Administrator, or similar role with a focus on data visualization platforms.
- In-depth understanding of Domo's features, capabilities, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and user access management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and provide support as needed.
- Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics workflows in Domo or similar platforms.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Administration, with a focus on Domo.
- Certifications in Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or related business intelligence tools are a plus.
