POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and motivated Creative Design and Copywriting Manager to join our dynamic marketing team in Japan to lead the creation of innovative emotive, thought-provoking messaging & designs capturing audiences’ hearts and mind.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling and differentiated copy that supports and elevates our brand’s voice across multiple channels. As an integral part of the Marketing team, you’ll lead conceptualization, market AB-test and work with all marketers to drive creative strategy & production hands-on.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptualize and design high-quality Japanese language copy and visual contents for all marketing campaigns and media. (Commercial ads, website, digital listing & display ads, content, print, event, social media, video and more.);
- Collaborate with marketers to create innovative, cohesive and engaging creative concepts, design & messaging for Domo brand and respective campaigns. Maintain brand voice and consistency across all touchpoints;
- Collaborate with global team to ensure consistency in brand style, tone, and messaging;
- Lead creative market testing, from concept testing to AB-test to understand audience response and leverage “data” in creative processes;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices; to continuously innovate and push creative boundaries.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in native Japanese copywriting, preferably within an agency or production company;
- 5+ years of experience in creative graphics, layout & promotional material design, preferably within an agency or production company;
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and mediums, across all forms of copy from white papers to campaigns to social;
- Strong creative portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including advertising, digital, and branded content;
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
PREFERRED
- University degree in Graphic Design, Advertising or related field;
- Experience in the tech sector;
- Knowledge of content strategy and digital marketing trends;
- Curiosity around AI within the creative process;
- Understanding of B2B marketing and metrics.
